All of the flaws in design with Vader's suit were purposely made by Palpatine, not just to punish the dark lord of the Sith, but also to prevent Vader from overthrowing Palpatine should he ever decide to betray his master. The constant pain that the suit caused Vader was also designed on purpose, as a way to fuel his connection to the Dark Side. It was basically a prison suit for Vader, unable to free himself yet not allowed to die. Despite all that was done to him, Palpatine was the only thing that Vader had left, and would not allow anyone else to take his place. Vader was a broken man in a torture chamber waiting for his own death, until his son came into the picture. But that's another story for another day...

The scene where he's on the operating table and the droids are attaching his artificial legs always cracks me up. He's on the table with pieces of his burnt clothing still attached to his burnt flesh. The first thing that would have been done would have been to remove all that, clean what's left, then apply the artificial skin. Only then would they begin to reassemble him.

If you listen closely. You can hear vader scream out "padme, help me!" It's done in a slight whisper because the fire destroyed his voice.
The fire did not completely destroy his vocal cords. His real voice was no louder than a whisper. If it were completely, Anakin would not be able to speak without any kind of voice implant.
In what scene when he's burning or getting his armor I'm curious
@theflamingoparty6680 it's the scene when he's on the operating table. The facial part of the mask is being sealed on his face for the first time. Literally just as the front was just put on the collar.

Damn, some of the problems with his mobility in his suit, reminds me of Diabetic Neuropathy. You can feel where you are walking, damaged nerves, feeling like you are toppling over, etc.

Kenobi is really a cretin who started a fight then, although he could reason with his friend by choosing the right words. In order not to regret later that he abandoned him, did not help, plunged even more into the dark side, especially did not give him a chance to redeem himself earlier. Vader evokes sympathy as a victim of circumstances who was not understood, was not accepted, and was not helped in time. Goes to show how Sidious always thought ahead. Did he believe Anakin would beat Obi-Wan? Yes but on the off chance Anakin lost and Anakin did lose he had a way to keep his apprentice subservient with a pain inducing suit.
