I just like the fact that the interpreter used in this scene was using actual signs and CL's and not just gesturing nonsense like I see in a lot of other shows.

I'm really glad that this show is displaying and normalizing ASL. I definitely think more doctors should have some beginner medical signs in their repertoire, but in a situation as precarious as Ethan's, miscommunication could be catastrophic. They definitely should have called for the certified medical interpreter the second they realized he was deaf.
NOOO! BAD IDEA! BAD IDEA! Shonda would just kill her off and break my heart! Again! Plus, the cast us so mean to each other and she's so nice! They could ruin her...or maybe she would make them better. Don't get me wrong, I love Lana. She's my favorite actress. And Once Upon A Time is my favorite show, with Grey's Anatomy coming in second. I would love to see her in it. But if her character died, I would be heartbroken. I mean, come on. Any Grey's fan knows the good characters never last long, lol.

Anybody notice the interpreter signed damaged? When Interpreter should say "spinal cord is not torn.". Did not give this video a thumbs up because not impressed with interpreter. Pretty cool seeing Lana sign. Saw her in Once Upon A Time tv show, loved it.
