Sotaro was probably not wearing just a bullet proof vest. Those don't turn away a blade. Maybe it was a layered blend of chainmail, silk, and kevlar. It bothered me at the very beginning of the story.

Unfortunate for what happened to the couple. Truly.
I wish the Mom could've held on, at least for a bit longer but she did went through a lot, to say the least. Rest in peace for her.
A bit of consolation is that the bastards were laid off not long after.
MVP be the neighbors.
Glad to see Jun and Mr. Long getting a happy ending. Idk if Mr. Long is a good person but as far as what was shown thus far, good enough, especially compared to those bastards earlier.
