The house is gorgeous. I particularly like the, apparently original, wood flooring. The beauty of wooden floors, especially if they have been embellished with marquetry work, is unbeatable. The only flaw is the hideous wallpaper but that can be removed. The gardens and the views are to die for. The price is ridiculous but consistent and logical with the British property market. Beautiful presentation. Thank you very much! 😍😁😍
Agree with the decor, easily changed, I think the lake district and lakeside location is adding an extra 4 million easy, plop this property in the middle of the Yorkshire dales and it's half the price, 🤔🙂
@@Onlinepropertyexplorer As I am not a Brit I yield to your greater knowledge 😁According to my wife, who is from Kent, there is nothing to see in Yorkshire but I know she is joking, although many Southerners seem to think that way.
@@arslongavitabrevis5136 lols, well the lake district is beautiful no doubt, yorkshire has nice countryside little towns and villages, york city is my favourite english city, prices are cheaper in the north and people are nicer but then many northerners seem to think that way 🙂🙂
Glad they chose one of the five sunny days Windermere gets every year to take the photos, warning to any prospective purchasers - bring your wellies and plenty of waterproof clothing. It rains most of the time here and on those five sunny days and the 360 other days, don’t expect to just nip up to Booths in Windermere to do a quick shop, so many tourists visit each day, it can take 30-40 minutes to travel from Bowness up the bank to the small town of Windermere.
It’s a very pretty place to live but not a very practical place to live.
