What I can recommend is using an issue tracker tool for your business processes and also as a "task list".
You can model the states of the tickets to reflect sorting, cataloging e.t.c.
This way, the whole history is documented and you can also create reports out of it. And you can assign the tickets to the persons that are doing the job.
Currently, you are using a spreadsheet for it, right?
In addition, you can use tickets to organise your own tasks. Whenever I get a task, that I can't do instantly, I create a ticket, prioritize it and put it into the backlog. When I'm finished with whatever I'm doing, I pick the next task from my backlog.
You can install one of the free ones on a server or NAS or you can pay for a cloud based one.

What about exit strategies, leaving the lego business, and everything revolving around that topic as part of a coming episode? I bet all Bricklink sellers have thought about this about once

This is a great suggestion! We have not really talked about this, but will add it to our list of future episodes! Thanks for watching/listening Fidel!

Where are the bottle necks right now in your business processes, where tasks build up? Obviously getting bins of A sort and B sort back from contractors. What about other bottle necks in other process areas? For streamlined process and process flow, you may want to identify these. An example is “batching” a bunch of orders together for verification, packaging, and shipping. Maybe it saves overall time. But does your process result in customer receiving the goods the fastest (in the processes you control)?
