I've built a prototype of a knife blade that is keener (sharper) than the best razor blade and self sharpens for the life of the tool. Cheap to produce as well.
Along the way i also independently reinvented self sharpening knife blocks and self sharpening lawnmower blades (those were easy). Neat, right?

Even as a kid in the 80s. I can't believe people actually bought 'The Pet Rock'. To be honest, I believe it was just a grift to gullible people.
When I first saw the commercial. I went to get a rock from our backyard. Looked at it for second. Then threw it right back.
