i dont think the speargun will be able to even breach the sharks skin. but theres no need to shoot at it, they wont come at you if you keep your eyes on it. if it comes at you the best thing you could do is swim at it and it will take off.

if you are in the water on anywhere with a wild animal that is thinking about it then it is your only chance

when you turn away or run they are pretty likely to give chase
