Supposedly the actual people who made the Street and Def Jam games back on the day are there, but the studio (EA BIG) is no more obviously. It's possible that they can start making successors to the Street games if they still have the resources.

Def Jam FFNY is one of the best games of all time imo. It was way ahead of it’s time. A remaster with online and cross play would be dope asf.
