    I like that Bradford said "once you're cleared" rather than "If you're cleared". He had more confidence in her than her own TO.

      Her TO is the one telling her to not make assumptions and he also told Bradford that he didn't think that she did anything wrong.

      Bradford did not have confidence in her, he had confidence in John (Nathan). If Nolan says he doesn't think she did anything wrong, you outta believe that, that guy is an unbiased saint.

      Bradford had more confidence in the system, not the rookie.

    I know it's a show, but I really feel like any police academy that leaves a graduate confused about whether being put on admin leave after a suspect dies in their custody means that they are fired or not needs to rework their curriculum. They already told her there needs to be an investigation. It should be pretty obvious that firing her would only come after that investigation.

      It think it’s more that she isn’t thinking clearly because, you know, guilt over possibly killing someone, fear of losing their job, and consequently, their home, car, insurance, etc.

      @@swearimnotarobot3746 yeah and at the end of the day we the audience need to know what is and will go on in a scene and storyline. Not all of us have cop training or know the laws like the back of our hand

      More probably it was exposition for the audience to know what's coming next, and it makes the most sense for the recent graduate to ask.

      @grantharriman284 Před 2 měsíci

      @@davidfrederick9973 How about having the trainee say it rather than asking like an idiot? Something as simple as "so, I'm not fired, at least not yet" give the audience all the same information without making your character look like an idiot.

    Except for the fact that she is the arresting officer not the custody officer, so the custody officer would be the person responsible because he was already in a cell and the paperwork is being processed meaning a custody officer already agreed that he had to be held.😊

      IRL it would be a bunch of paperwork for turning your stuff in and also stuff for you to sign when you receive it back. It's not like in the movies where your captain puts your gun and badge in his desk for a couple weeks. It has to be processed and secured LAPD love their regulations.

    • @raghavkashyap324
      @raghavkashyap324 Před měsícem

      Actually Brooklyn 99 , another cop TV show got it right. In that , the captain is a real stickler for rules and even quotes the forms names that the officer had to fill when handing over his gun and badge

    That is why I don't like celena she always looks incredulous when she gets reprimanded. Started on day one when she made an illegal stop based an aura and Harper told celena that they can't use evidence from the stop because it was illegal and celena was indignant ans she went on to say something in the lines of the ends justify the means. Also she talked back to Tim and Gray.. she provides nothing to the show but heebee jeebee stuff and that runs old real quick. It's not that I don't care for stuff. Angela believes that stuff but that doesn't really define her. Celena without the hee we jeebees is just a boring character that is more of a liability.
