I've had the non USB AAA Battery version for years and absolutely loved it. I've given it as a gift to multiple people who love it as well. I have one for my house one for my car. I just found out about this USB version. I don't need one, but I may get one anyways lol

The Microstream brand flashlights are reliable and worth every penny you spend on them in my opinion. I started off with the 45 lumen AAA Battery version and loved that thing till I came across the usb coyote Microstream (gave the AAA to my wife for her car) and also loved that one till I found out the one major flaw with these flashlights...the pocket clip! I use to carry it in my left pocket and my EDC knife in my right, till the coyote turned up missing and I found it the next day clipped to my seat belt, must have grabbed it when I took it off and the clip was no longer tight, then sometime later It turned up missing again but un able to find it, so I bought the blue Microstream (not cheesy looking at all) figuring that it would be easier to see if something happens to it? I do carry it in my right pocket along with my Spyderco Delica 4 w/blue FRN handle and they look nice sitting next to each other, the clip is not tight anymore like the other one but I still have it. I now use a valet tray organizer to do an EDC pocket dump and make sure I have everything! Also, I think that lumens are deceiving because when you go from 50 to 250 it doesn't seem anywhere near 5 times as bright although for indoor use 50 is more than enough and for outdoor 250 does a really good job! and thank you that was a very well-done review.
