Knowing MG electrics, after that under-hood spray, it'll never start again!!
The car will be after mid 1974. I had several Midgets including one of the last produced metal bumper models with the round rear wheel arches ( probably the prettiest model made) . The rubber bumpers were introduced during 74 to meet US safety regulations, which ironically ruined the handling! Thanks for the trip down memory lane guys ❤️
That Midget looks so much better with those bumpers off. Nice job guys!
They were originally small neat chrome bumpers. The giant rubber ones had to be added for the American market. They also had to increase the ride height. Spoilt the look IMO.
They originally came with chrome bumpers front and back, but US standards demanded big ugly plastic ones.
As we say in England, good things come in little packages..... 10/10 guys, great job on an English classic!!! 🇬🇧
I love that you guys don't have to have a high-dollar machine for every step... sometimes just a good brush does the trick. Good job!
The reactions are the best! I’ve only been a subscriber for about a month. Y’all rock. Good kids.
The reactions are the best part for us too. I always smile while I edit them 😂
I love the color! It’s awesome that you guys were able to bring this car out of the grave :)
These WD Barnd Find videos are incredibly relaxing!
You guys gave that cute little car her dignity back. From just a forgotten, dirty, headed for the scrap yard junker, to a hot little mama sweet ride!
I think it's a 1978 mg midget. Brilliant results would love to see this fully restored classic mg midget.
Hello from Belfast, Ireland. Have now watched all of your videos. I find them so relaxing and you guys are so easy to listen to. I wish you both well.
Awesome job. I've been watching and subscribed for about 6 months . You guys always make whatever car you are working on look like new. Love the older cars that you guys work on. Keep up the great work.
I owned this exact car. It's a 1979 MG Midget and I just found this channel because I saw my old car being restored.
My uncle has the exact 1976 MG Midget Convertible! My grandparents are taking care of it, cause my uncle passed away.
Loving these videos!! Oddly satisfying to watch someone else clean lol 😌 Would also be cool to add a visual comparison of the clean seat vs. dirty seat 😄
When cleaning seats outside the vehicle I noticed that the seat just wobbles (as it was in here so you had to hold it) I went Menards and got a 2x2 piece of plywood off their scrap file and just bolt seats into that now. Makes it so much easier to clean the seat outside the car.
Seeing this MG Midget brings back good memories... a girlfriend bought one brand new in 1975 and it was fun riding around in it. She bought it at Jaguar Cleveland - probably not in business anymore. Thanks for bringing another one back to life. Hope he gets it running... like I said they are fun.
I've been here since the very beginning, and I'm SO happy for you guys!
I have been here from the beginning watching yall is so satisfying
Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Nice work! Aluminum foil, folded up and lubricated with water works wonders when rubbed on surface rusted chrome. Hard to tell how damaged the rings were, but I’ve personally never had luck with a polish type abrasive. Looking forward to enjoying your content!
Parabéns pelo ótimo trabalho de vocês!!
Again, congratulations on hitting 100k, already up to 115k!! I've been here with y'all since I believe you had 300 subscribers or so! You both deserve all the success and happiness! Keep up the good work!!!
I think it's late 70s.
One of my friends had one in high school. GLORIOUS FINISH.
you guys really go the extra mile
@@chadalcock7275 when he asked the question in the beginning I automatically said 1978 but it sucks he didn't tell us at the end I genuinely wish he would've bc now it has me curious
That was an awesome detail you guys are the 1st ones I've ever seen that's actually done one of these cars.. Would definitely love to see a 3rd generation Iroc Z or And eighties Trans Am
Great job boys, your passion for your work, though humbly presented, is screaming. Nice work, keep it up!
Excellent Job
Well Done
Makes us feel appreciated to the Classic World of our Motor Heritage.
I have been subscribed for about 4 months and I watch every video and can’t wait for another

Nice! And that Triumph 1500 is a good, torquey engine, too!
AMAZING video!!!!! I was drooling the whole time....I have wanted an MGB or MG Midget since I was old enough to know what a car was!!!!! I STILL want one!!!!!
Congrats guys. Hardwork Pays Off. I started watching you when you were 10k i was recommended your vid and i absolutely loved it and till date loving your vids. Keep Growing Guys. 🔥🔥
Remember these back in the day. First time I have seen one with the steering wheel in the wrong place!
Wonderful. With the owner s reaction in the end. Well done guyz
Viéndolos desde Chile hace no más de un mes. LLegué al detailing por un video de Ammo nyc y luego youtube me recomendó este canal. Great job!
I'm a new subscriber and I love your content. 2 young lads doing what they love! I'm an OCD guy so, this is my paradise!
I really thought it was an Triumph Spitfire, maybe around '78
When I subscribed to y’all, it was around 5K subscribers. Amazing growth for you guys.
Love the bumper less look ! Totally transforms the look of the car.
I've been a subscriber for a long time, since the beginning I think; and I LOVE the ASMR parts you've started to include lately. Thanks! 😍🙏
I like how you guys use the drill brush to lather up the cleaner.
I have been watching for 5 days
This guy has so many unique dope cars
That car is adorable...good job guys!
your work is incredible!
Good work!
Nice work guys its a from late 1970s early 80s British classic 👍
Now this would be a fun car too photograph!
Great job! I started to subscribe just about a week ago, and I find your videos really satisfying. It would be cool if you where able to do follow up videos on some of the projects, if the owner decided to fully restore the car.
2:31 the vacuum absorbed a little key down there!
Loved it, especially the exterior. I know you said a lot of people like the interior cleaning, but to me, there’s nothing as exciting as watching paint come back to life on an old classic car. If I had to guess it’s age, I would say 1962. I haven’t been watching you guys since the beginning but I have been watching for a while. I only subscribed maybe two weeks ago though. I really enjoy your videos. You guys do a great job.
15:36 - looks much better WITHOUT the bumpers...
Well done guys, always pump to see your detailing
This was about 90 percent restoration done on this car. Great job!
I’ve been here a few months , love detailing videos !
I've been a subscriber for few days now, I'm not really into cars or anything like that. I just love how satisfying your videos are.
All the way from SA 🇿🇦🇿🇦
Excellent job you guys well worth watching keep up the great work I would drive it the way it is 👍👍👍👍👍
Leather seats, lol. It’s an MG, those seats are the finest Conoly Vinyl money can buy.
Well done lads! Keep on keeping on. 🎉🍾☘️
Just subscribed this week. You do amazing jobs!
I literally found yoy guys this morning, great channel. The car would be around 1978 I believe. They are newer than people would think
I’ve been subscribed right from the beginning, well done lads 🎉🎉🎉
New subscriber here, have been watching daily for couple weeks now. These are amazing keep up the great work 🙌
Haven't got the faintest idea how old this car is. But, I love you guys to death. Haven't been a subscriber since the VERY beginning, but preeeetty close.
I Love this channel.. Good Job brother..
Respect from me in Indonesia
I am a new subscriber. Amazing job! Can't wait to see this on the road.
The fact that you guys can turn the gnarliest and most tragic looking cars into something beautiful is incredible y’all are insanely talented love your videos and I hope you come out with more
Interior this car was barely dirty at all but I agree for the wheels and in general exterior
I would definitely love to see a restoration on this. Heck I’d love to own one if I could fit in it.
Thank You For restoring History, I Just Subscribed.
Great video as always guys. Been a subscriber for about 6 months now.
Great job guys.
It’ looks dope with out the bumpers
Excellent work wd as always im thinking 1954,and ive been watching u guys since the beginning. Keep up the excellent work
Congratulations guys.. 🙋🏿♂️
Beautiful!
I was here when you had 7k subs!
Well done guys, love ya Brent 😘
I been watching u guys since about April 17,2020
Great video and great job on the car . I wish I could have you guys do my 83 Grand Prix it needs this kind of love . I use to love to detail cars but I have a Condition where I’m not able anymore. . I had such a passion for it . I look forward to watching more videos! The Only thing that irritated me was the neighbor lol I’m sorry but he just does not seem very appreciative 🤦♂️ Idk maybe it was just me ! The amount of work you guys put in and amazing transformation ! I mean come on I would have been in tears
My suggestion is to repaint the hood..spot paint the rest. Looks great
Y’all are awesome 🤩
I think is a 1979, I had one long time ago. Following since yesterday, great videos!
I really like you guys you do a good job
Im thinking its a mid to late 1970s model!. Loving the videos, keep up the great work!.
You guys do great work.
Hi. Subscribed for a long time, don't remember how long but love the transformations. The MG looks mid 70's. It seems the car was green originally (British racing green perhaps?) Thanks from 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Hi WD Detailing I love your Channel and I love All Of your car detailing videos and I love your music and I am so happy to see you guys again and I love you guys and I’ve been here since the beginning and I am a new subscriber and this car is probably about 15 years old 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Gotta be a early 70's late 60's something
Look like a 1900s old car to me I love old cars great video
I think its a 1979 MG Midget 1500, came up nice and clean. The chrome wheel rings are non-standard and I would just toss them out. It only needs a hood and the engine bonnet respray. Then an underbody wash and its done.
I think its a 1975. I had a 77 MGB. You do great work.. Kevin
I'm a new sub and I really like watching you guys make old Vehicles look like new its awesome
Buen laburo!!!!
Very nice working
Legends 🔥👏🏽

Would be nice to see the full restoration when completed.
That's what I was just thinking. They did a really good job with the cleaning but it would be really nice to see what it looks like once he actually restores it.
