So I’m guessing you guys didn’t know the blood droplets actually disappear in all of the EA sports UFC games? Example, in round one, let’s say you cut your opponent and one little drop of blood hits the canvas right? It disappears, then round 2 starts and the canvas is magically covered in blood stains that was never there to begin with. In UFC 5, the blood does not disappear at all. (I tested it on the closed beta)
@@Live_Fast_Die_Punk it generates new random bloodstains, but it still keeps some of the old. I’m playing fight night champion right now, still an EA game, the blood droplets stay in the same place they fall for the entire fight. And they even fade to be less visible as they soak into the canvas
@@Yee-Haw-MMAI played a lot of Fight Night Champion and when I played bare knuckles mode (they bleed a lot more easier) those big puddles of blood actually do disappear. I do notice the dried up blood stains on the canvas but those are just randomly generated as well. The UFC Undisputed series and EA sports MMA had the best blood effects

I dont see onefc having a big enough market to profit of a game. With all the talks of PFL buying Bellator ..if that goes through It will be beyond a doubt the 2nd largest MMA organization to compete with the UFC. I could definitely see some developers getting behind that. Both Bellator and PFL have recognizable names in their promotions. I'd LOVE to see someone like 2K sports making that. That would be a game changer!!!!

“As real as it gets” no seated cage positions, no standing tkos, can only throw one elbow before you are forced to posture down, no ground hammer fists,no real coaches and trainers cage side, etc. real mma fans notice these things. For a 3 year layoff I expected way more man. That being said I’m still gonna buy it because I love mma.

it will affect him for the fight, they said that in the gameplay deep dive. for example a nose injury affects your stamina and an eye injury your block
So basically they touched up the graphics and reworked the submissions and called it a day. Seeing how terrible the knockdowns and KO's look really blows my mind. That's one thing they need to get right. This game looks great until the fighting starts.

There is something broke in the game where if you throw elbows the player on the bottom can’t dodge the strike. This is why they took them out of 4 and did them like this in 5. I know what you’re thinking why not just fix the issue then? Undisputed had both..well EA is lazy.

@Toby-kd6gt when you watch high level players play its literally one guy punches a couple times then the other guy punches a few times unless you do a good read and counter its actually turned based especially when your low and just spamming the safe 1 2 1 to each others block
Next level presentation such as playing career mode as Valentina, and having Valentina's clone as one of your coaches. Or playing online career with coach Davis in your corner as well as the opposing corner. True attention to detail at work here
Fighter likeness is not just about the model, the hair and lighting effects. It's about the in-fight movements. One of the biggest gripes about this series is the cookie cutter approach. I understand you can't possibly fund making every fighter unique but at least ensure the top 10 are.

Bro I saw so many animations straight from ufc4 like the celebration animations and even the punches look the same and as a boxer and die hard mma fan they look so Arcadey idk how to explain it and when they show the slow motion replays I always hated how in ufc4 when you connect you can see the face on the fighters do very strange things especially the lips and morph in ways a face does not morph and they literally show the same issues in these replays. They look good but the lip and the chin glitching out really kills the immersion for me I can’t believe they allowed for that to be shown

Did you know that almost every new gameplay feature has been implemented to the game during the last few months of the development cycle, which is why these features weren't a part of the beta? Martial Mind said that they are not even available on the UFC 5 disc in one of his previous videos. The consumer has to download a patch to "enjoy" the additional changes like the slower knee or elbow animation. Wrap your head around that fact.
That info is not correct. Features are done during production. On the Finaling stages only tuning and minor feature changes are done. Beta was probably missing some of the latest tuning. Also Day Zero patch is common in almost every game, is mostly bugs but it could contain tuning.

Slower knees or Elbow animations are tuning changes, a feature is a major design piece, like Cinematic Replays or Doctor Stoppages. Almost every feature is completed on the production part of development. On finaling and patches, there could be some things forgotten or postponed but it's mostly bugs and tuning. Day zero patch contains the latest tuning changes and bugs, not major features. And when you get the game, it already comes with the day zero patch, that's why its day 0 :)

UFC4 was such an arcade turd. Killed a lot of gamer communities around UFC cause real mma fans stopped playing that cheesefest. I think a lot is riding on UFC5 because after 4 this series reputation is VERY suspect.

The issue is the health. The fact you can get knocked down so many times by brutal combos and get up like nothing happened really ruins it.

Bro I saw so many animations straight from ufc4 like the celebration animations and even the punches look the same and as a boxer and die hard mma fan they look so Arcadey idk how to explain it and when they show the slow motion replays I always hated how in ufc4 when you connect you can see the face on the fighters do very strange things especially the lips and morph in ways a face does not morph and they literally show the same issues in these replays. They look good but the lip and the chin glitching out really kills the immersion for me I can’t believe they allowed for that to be shown

Martial Mind said that they are not even available on the UFC 5 disc in one of his previous videos. That info is not correct. Features are done during production.
On the Finaling stages only tuning and minor feature changes are done.
Beta was probably missing some of the latest tuning. Also Day Zero patch is common in almost every game, is mostly bugs but it could contain tuning.

I think that's were the confusion lies.
Slower knees or Elbow animations are tuning changes, a feature is a major design piece, like Cinematic Replays or Doctor Stoppages.
Almost every feature is completed on the production part of development.
On finaling and patches, there could be some things forgotten or postponed but it's mostly bugs and tuning.
Day zero patch contains the latest tuning changes and bugs, not major features.
And when you get the game, it already comes with the day zero patch, that's why its day 0 :)
