    Love Dee Snider. I could listen to him talk for hours. I really love his solo material and how powerful the music is. I would love to meet the guy and just listen to him talk about music and all of the amazing stories. Fantastic interview. Cant wait for the sequel.

    I enjoyed this so much. Born in Australia in 72. Stay Hungry was the first record I bought with my own money and was the start of my metal journey. Dee seems like such a cool bloke. Awesome interview.

    Blackmore did not write the ALL NIGHT LONG lyrics, I think Roger Glover did, but maybe for contractual reasons Bonnet was left out originally.
    Blackmore cultivated this moody image but at the same many said he is actually shy, intoverted , indeed softspoken, man.
    And it depends who you ask but it seems he is not always hard to work with.
    I dont know, never got to meet the man who in fact changed my life.
    I m amazed about attendance numbers seeing TWISTED SISTER way back. I mean, .....
    Btw, David Rosenthal, keyboardplayer for Rainbow did join Billy Joels band. Maybe it was the Blackmore and Joel connection?

      20:20 What a clown. Billy (his reative?) good, Ritchie "Trump" bad. And drummers had to hit harder in the 80s? Wow. Who knows?

    • @delorangeade
      @delorangeade Před 5 měsíci +3

      Chuck Burgi from Rainbow also played with Billy Joel. Not everyone is a "people person," including me, so I can relate to Blackmore's discomfort in that way.

    • @jonblackers4339
      @jonblackers4339 Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@delorangeade I for a moment had forgotten about Burgi.
      I am always in doubt of what to think of Ritchie.
      He has shown a range of differing approaches towards people.
      There s a lot of grey between being a sociopath and a really easy going guy. Unfortunately I m kinda "damaged" so I was afraid meeting him might end traumatic.

    • @delorangeade
      @delorangeade Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@jonblackers4339 I've never wanted to meet Ritchie, or anybody else whose talent I admire, but I have found it useful to channel my "inner Blackmore" in some situations. It actually said "moody and inconsistent" on my school report many years ago.

    • @jonblackers4339
      @jonblackers4339 Před 5 měsíci

      @@delorangeade I never vented my frustrations in a way that made me agressive towards others. Though I do recall , out of despair, at home I threw furniture around and walked the door of my bed room from its holdings when my stepbrother annoyed the hell out of me.

    I dont see how you get people to stopping using tracks. The only way is dont pay to see shows to those who you know are using them although not enough people seem to be doing that. Kiss was still filling arenas even though its known they use tracks. Not enough people seem to care.

    Funny how Dee Snider questions Richie Blackmore distant attitude when they met.. I was/am a fan of Twisted Sister and especially in the early club days I was one of those waiting on those long lines ie Beggars Opera, Detriots, Hammerheads etc.. Years later I run into him at hotel lobby and guess what he was a cold fish towards me.. I'm a respectful person and do respect people spaces but he was a complete jackass to me.. Watching this video tells me how full of it he is..
