Amazing that you landed Dee for a long interview! Still obssessed with TS since '84!! I will always love these guys!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love Dee Snider. I could listen to him talk for hours. I really love his solo material and how powerful the music is. I would love to meet the guy and just listen to him talk about music and all of the amazing stories. Fantastic interview. Cant wait for the sequel.
Wow! I'm amazed you managed to get Dee Snyder on. He was a fun energetic guest to listen to
Fantastic interview with Dee!! Great questions, terrific answers! He's such an open and genuine person, with great stories from the early days, his influences, friends, idols, etc. Really enjoyed this one, to be sure!! Great job, Barry!!! I will be purchasing his graphic novel just to support him and his endeavors. Fantastic presentation!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed this so much. Born in Australia in 72. Stay Hungry was the first record I bought with my own money and was the start of my metal journey. Dee seems like such a cool bloke. Awesome interview.
What a great interview with Dee. Very good and informed questions and amazingly articulate answers. Respect due - respect paid!
What a super nice guy Dee is. A thoroughly enjoyable interview.
From an old SMF fan, great interview! Memories, insights, a great job. Well done!
Thank you
you deserve these interviews!
Thank you
It's nice to see Dee is so energetic and in good shape despite all covids and all other global harms. Twisted Sister rocks all the time.
What a great interview. I had to watch it in segments, but it was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Saw Twisted Sister a couple of times in early 1980s. Also Donnington 1983! Always in your face!
Good to see your channel doing so well 👍 keep up the good work Barry, love it
Thank you, I will
You get what you pay for with Dee , absolute respect paid
What a great interview and Dee definitely made the right choice going down the take Billy's attitude to stardom and it showed throughout the interview. Very impressed with him.. Great to see your subscriptions leaping up Barry and you deserve every success.
Great interview of a fellow Long Islander, who I met once before!! Great guy, thanks for this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great interview! I enjoyed it immensely. I was especially glad to hear Dee show some love for The Width of a Circle, my favorite Bowie song.
Thanks for listening
What a delightful interview!
Blackmore did not write the ALL NIGHT LONG lyrics, I think Roger Glover did, but maybe for contractual reasons Bonnet was left out originally.
Blackmore cultivated this moody image but at the same many said he is actually shy, intoverted , indeed softspoken, man.
And it depends who you ask but it seems he is not always hard to work with.
I dont know, never got to meet the man who in fact changed my life.
I m amazed about attendance numbers seeing TWISTED SISTER way back. I mean, .....
Btw, David Rosenthal, keyboardplayer for Rainbow did join Billy Joels band. Maybe it was the Blackmore and Joel connection?
20:20 What a clown. Billy (his reative?) good, Ritchie "Trump" bad. And drummers had to hit harder in the 80s? Wow. Who knows?
Chuck Burgi from Rainbow also played with Billy Joel. Not everyone is a "people person," including me, so I can relate to Blackmore's discomfort in that way.
@@delorangeade I for a moment had forgotten about Burgi.
I am always in doubt of what to think of Ritchie.
He has shown a range of differing approaches towards people.
There s a lot of grey between being a sociopath and a really easy going guy. Unfortunately I m kinda "damaged" so I was afraid meeting him might end traumatic.
@@jonblackers4339 I've never wanted to meet Ritchie, or anybody else whose talent I admire, but I have found it useful to channel my "inner Blackmore" in some situations. It actually said "moody and inconsistent" on my school report many years ago.
@@delorangeade I never vented my frustrations in a way that made me agressive towards others. Though I do recall , out of despair, at home I threw furniture around and walked the door of my bed room from its holdings when my stepbrother annoyed the hell out of me.
Great character, We're not gonna take it,such a awesome song. I used to cover it .Twisted were a great combination of the New York Dolls and The Dictators. Check out The Dictators. Underrated. All these bands are NY.👏🎸🥁🎤✌️🏴
When does strange land come out part 2
Excellent interview
Dee has infectious energy, great to listen to.
Yes indeed!
Good interview - you certainly get value for money with Dee!
Good job Barry 👏!!
Fantastic interview 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would have liked hear something about Desperado by Dee
I dont see how you get people to stopping using tracks. The only way is dont pay to see shows to those who you know are using them although not enough people seem to be doing that. Kiss was still filling arenas even though its known they use tracks. Not enough people seem to care.
You’re getting some big names, Barry. Well done, sir. Try and get Brian May. He’s a lovely chap.
Thank you, I will
Dee is hardcore rock and roll. When someone files down their teeth into fangs for an authentic look they are seriously committed. Long live rock!
Funny how Dee Snider questions Richie Blackmore distant attitude when they met.. I was/am a fan of Twisted Sister and especially in the early club days I was one of those waiting on those long lines ie Beggars Opera, Detriots, Hammerheads etc.. Years later I run into him at hotel lobby and guess what he was a cold fish towards me.. I'm a respectful person and do respect people spaces but he was a complete jackass to me.. Watching this video tells me how full of it he is..
Dee is always very personable, I just never liked Twisted Sister.
Surprised you're bothering to interview this nothing front man from a nothing band
