Scripted and rigged are two different things. Sure I could see one cheating ref skewing the spread possibly, but when you think 22 grown men are all on the field acting... I mean you simply can't argue with stupid.

What percentage of flags thrown in the entire season were thrown on the team with the lead? If anyone can find this secret information I would love to know. If noticeable higher it’s obvious the games are officiated in a way to keep games close. He said it himself, “70% of games are with in 1 score in the 4th quarter and that’s what people love”

He was asked if he rigged games to which he responded, no, he didn’t need to. He knew who the other refs liked and didn’t like, and he knew their natural proclivities for calling games.
He knew the refs hated one player and had discussed wanting to “punish” him that season, so he always gambled against that guys team. Likewise, during the nba finals, he knew the official who was running the crew was a “company man”, meaning he would help get the finals to game 7, because the nba wants it to go to game 7 where the ratings are at.
That’s what people mean when they say the games are rigged. Perfect example, lions winning the game twice and having both touchdowns pulled back on b.s. calls.
But the nfl and anyone who has anything to do with the product keeps talking about scripting like it’s a joke. They’re the ones who call it scripted, not fans. Fans are worried about ref bias, nfl keeps calling that “scripting.”
@@mr.doctorcaptain1124 I agree with more of what you are saying vs it being scripted. People in general have biasness in them regardless if it is intentional or not. I think its easy enough to get the intentional things out, but the unintentional is where its hard. and you just have to believe when the refs go and get graded to keep their jobs or to try and make it to the playoff or superbowl crew, its enough incentive. I do not know if they "fixed" the problem or not. But the playoff refs arent the same refs that have been a team and working together all season.
The Chiefs have been one of the most penalized teams since Mahomes has been the starter so WTH do you think that means? Does it mean the NFL wants the Chiefs to lose, which blows your pathetic little theory out of the water, and Mahomes is even better than what the general consensus is? How many Chiefs games have you watched. I'd wager most people doing all of this whining haven't watched very many, and probably haven't watched any reaction shows where the tape is gone through after the game. If you had, you'd probably be figuring out that this would be a good time to stop being such whining snowflakes.

Tens of billions of dollars rides on the outcome of games. Money corrupts everything and the NFL is not immune. There may not be a script, but there is influence in certain directions.
It is the horrible officiating and seemingly arbitrary decisions affecting game outcomes that lead people to believe it is run by Vegas. Calls that can be reviewed and reversed are simply allowed to happen.

I used to get upset. But now I laugh at the bad actors. I enjoy it the most when someone goes off script and every player kinda freezes and watches the actor run into the end zone.
Fr the superbowl was all I needed to confirm that the outcome of thees games are planned at least the score

I and others took the underdog chiefs all the way to the bank. Those final 3 games offered great value, we saw it, we took advantage of it, and that’s why we keep winning.
There are a lot of people watching the games, and seeing different patterns develop and desired outcomes achieved through a variety of manipulations. I believe the potential of a chiefs 3-peat is going to offer some good value games. Same with the 9ers. Both teams may have 5-6 game winning streaks. Just have a wait and see what changes are made during the off-season, and them following the hype of the sports media talking heads.
Btw: I don’t bet on any games played outside the USA. The gambling venues in those countries may be heavily influencing the final outcome.

The only scripts that make it through are the ones that make the most money. So Detroit lions nope, Lamar Jackson nope , Taylor swift yes. Why? Because no there script brings in a brand new customer base right in their lap.

As a Chiefs fan, I just think about it this way: What incentive do they have to keep writing the Chiefs to the SB every year? We're a smaller market team if you look at the numbers, around #23 in the league in valuation according to Forbes. Wouldn't they sell way more jerseys and SB gear if the Cowboys won? America's so-called team that is valued the highest? Why the Chiefs? I hear the Taylor Swift stuff this year, but what about before that? And if they did hire Taylor, wouldn't they have her date a Cowboy? Like Romo and Jessica Simpson back in the day. And I went all out spending nearly a thousand dollars on SB gear in 2020 when we first won it, and then last year I probably only spent $300-400. Why wouldn't they write it so new teams get it every year, so they can increase sales? Doesn't make sense. Why not have larger market teams like the Bears, Raiders, Jets, and Commanders win it sometimes? If it was really scripted, I would instruct the writer to maximize profits.

Kinda got to read between the lines. Scripting can happen if the financial potential is there. So when he says Taylor swift brings in a huge audience that wouldn’t normally be there he is saying they need to milk the Chiefs for all their worth. You think they are not in meetings discussing the best way to keep this untapped audience that just fell into their lap? Only way to do that is chiefs need to make it to the superbowl. And somehow being a team that averages like 17 points a game are able to make it straight to the Super Bowl. Gee didn’t see that coming.
They’re acting like it’s impossible but players of a different league have already talked about a way refs can attempt to rig games. Retired NBA players openly admit when there’s a storyline between some teams or a team is more marketable the refs will overly penalize the opposing team with iffy calls to extend a series or effectively hinder the opposing team. Players literally say they prep and go into games knowing they have to play aggressively to overcome the refs. NFL can do the same thing with their penalties. People already think they ignore pass interference for some teams.

I don't think its fully scripted or anything, all I'm saying is that the NFL can select refs based on their historical patterns, refs are still people and thus still have their own biases. So when I say "scripted" I'm not thinking that play by play they are crafting it so that X happens, no, the coaches and players are doing their best to win. But the NFL can do their best to shift the probability of a team winning or losing based on who is refing the games.
