In 1947, when India was partitioned, the Hindu population in Pakistan was about 24%. Today it is not even 1%. In 1947, the Hindu population in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) was 30%. Today it is about 7%. --> this was 5 years back
It was 22% in Lahore city, not entire west Pakistan. There is no record of the 30% Hindu population in east Pakistan or Bangladesh.. The current Hindu population in Bangladesh is 11%.. Bangladeshi government has atleast 3 Hindus in cabinet ministry role..
In the partition (many records available on internet) West Pakistan which is already a low populated region, had over 20 million inflow of Muslims from northern India and over 15 million outflow of Hindus.. This has actually created a 35 million shift in population in western Pakistan..
The eastern Pakistan didn’t undergo this big population shift during partition, rather, this occurred during the Bangladesh war of independence.. Most Hindus migrated to India in the eastern part of India actually occurred nearly 23 years after partition.. Today most of the illegal immigrants came from Bangladesh are Hindus. The original Hindu population of about 18% in the eastern Pakistan before Bangladesh independence has reduced to 11%. In Bangladesh you will find Hindus in everything.. in every sports team etc.. Bangladesh is not officially / constitutionally an Islamic country…rather it is a secular country.. Yes, they too do have Islamic extremists but Bangladeshis I have spoken to are not like that..
Let me tell you another interesting note.. There are many Hindu refugees came from Pakistan have returned back to Pakistan. There is an old article of NDTV still available on internet.. This includes one Brahmin family that stayed in refugee camp for Pakistani Hindus in New Delhi, has returned back to their village in Pakistan.. You can find the article on internet with an interview from this Brahmin family that returned back to Pakistan.
Malaysia and Indonesia are Muslim majority countries as well and their politicians are religiously Islamic.. Still Hindu migrants from India live without any issues.. In Malaysia they even made Hindu festivals national holiday just to make the 8% Hindu Tamil migrants who came from India..
If your world of Muslims just stops with Pakistan, then your thoughts are very narrow.

Varun, Thanks for this video. We all may have alternate/unagreebale views about Islam and its followers. But for a minute if we are to stand in the shoes of a Muslim India, we will realize that
1. A Muslim is forced to expose his patriotism at every turn, because he is always viewed with suspicion.
2. A Muslim has to always explain that all the disastrous acts are not acceptable how much ever their pain is.
Watch the helpless and frustrated tone of this young man Lee Bhai at 31:00 when he says Muslims were attacked and left helpless. I was a schoolgoer back then, I watched and read newspaper and magazines of all the horrors of that time. I read a poem back then in Kalki about a Muslim youngster studying in Chennai, who comes back on vacation, but has to sleep in coimbatore busstand as the last bus to his village left and how he gets to be manhandled by police and torchured to confess for something he didn’t even understand. That poem made me cry.
I hope we will all see a day when Muslims don’t have to prove anything to anyone.
I know rest of Tamilnadu it is like that, excepting coimbatore area, but if we let the communalism grow in on us from Coombatore, we will all be going down a black hole.

First time, i am seeing ur video varun.
Very happy to see a person who speaks that muslim rules has these many good things.
I am born and brougt up in tamil nadu and i seriously have experienced and seen mutual admiration of friendship between hindus and muslims . When i got married and settle in north india , its completely different from south .
When i think deeply on that point, i see compared to south , north has gone thru a lot of suffering during invasions, after independence also bomb blast are more compared to south. When one bomb blast can change the mind set of coimbatore then north cam do so .
I am amazed to see that u forgive very easily when he said yes muslim did bomb blast and thats very wrong but u didnt forgive people who retaliate after godhra train burn, kashmiri pandits genocides, back to back bomb blasts.. dont forget 26/11 where people were killed very badly.. but u wont ask him ,even if u ask him he will say thats against muslim religion but what to do v r minority.. who is minority.. muslims? All these are legal in your society and laws. And this does not bother you. A daughter from another family can be treated like the above. In Islam, it asks you to restrict to maximum 4 and everybody has to be given equal rights. And you are warned, if u cannot treat them equally, Marry only One. No religion says marry only one except the Holy Quran. If women are ill treated in Islam and suppresed, there would be mass migration of muslim women towards other religion but it is the opposite. Despite all your false propagandas, women in the west and in India are embracing Islam in great numbers. Thats why your government is passing laws against conversion. For every false allegation you make against Islam, I can give valid reasons but you wont accept becoz your heart has been blinded. And you cant face us in a reasonable argument, all you have is hate and violence becoz you cant stand against the TRUTH.
