Louis's character development was that he stopped being a bitch and stood up for his family and clem, thats why you see him losing himself as it is his first human kill, you should watch violet and louis in relationship with clem to see their full growth
I think the people that tell you that you guys made the worst decisions are the ones who played all the endings and know everything. In my opinion you guys made the choices that made sense in a blind playthrough
I think they made the best decisions except season 3 but that's normal, it's so hard there getting best ending without guides, it's so random how multiple decisions affects the ending

There is also a death scene when you lose in S1 where duck turns into a walker in the train,kills katjaa,ben and you also see Clementine's hat laying on the moving train. Then Duck chomps on a frozen Lee who couldn't process all this and then the "You are dead" scene pops up. This happens when you don't convince kenny to stop the train and take too much time with it in doing so. It is the longest "you are dead" scene followed by an another one in S3 when Javier gives a goodbye speech to Gabe. These death scenes are very rare These aren't have to do with choices ofc as they are death scenes,they are weird failures imo
Fun Fact: Did ya’ll know that there was originally going to be another ending for Season 2? The developers confirmed that there was an ending that involved Clementine & AJ alone in the snow, Clementine would see a light in the distance but is too weak to go see what it is due to hyperthermia. The game would give you the choice to either freeze to death or leave AJ to die. All of this was scrapped as the devs weren’t sure at the time if there would be a 3rd season so their solution was to create five different scenarios that would leave Clem’s story open-ended, just in case! Which I’m glad they ended up doing cuz I would’ve been upset if they did my two faves like that 😅 Also, I highly enjoyed your guys playthrough of Telltale’s TWD! Legit took me back to when I first started playing the games so it was extremely fun to watch ya’ll go through the motions! ❤

If Alvin didn't die in the raid in Episode 2, he would appear in Episode 3 beaten up and unresponsive. The scene where Carver introduces himself to Clem mentions like *that chair* will have Alvin's beaten body instead of nothing.

That’s the point of the series. Sadly, people are built for survival to a point but when you are pinned with humans against humans it’s instantly survival of the fittest. If no one died, it wouldn’t be an apocalypse. I think it also drives the point home to cherish the people you meet on the journey because they might not be around for tomorrow. Clem literally had trauma from everyone leaving or dying and had nightmares about saving AJ with the fear of losing him again. He was the first one to never leave her and actually stay till the end of season 4. For a game, the repetition does get old fast but these episodes are also not meant to be played in a binged order. Typically it was a few months before the next episode - excluding season three due to part 1 and 2 being released on the same day. So the experience of binging it all quickly with the knowledge of what happens kinda limits the experience sadly. It why people adore the comics and show since they had more ability to play around with the writing without it messing up the choice structure
One of my favorite choices In the series is if you let the time run out when Lee's dying, Clem will actually choose to either Kill or Leave Lee on her own depending on what you taught her throughout the game. too bad they didn't really follow it up with AJ in S4, wish if you taught him to be violent he would've just killed Lilly without your input lol

I speculate that Carver privately beat Alvin because Carver is jealous of Alvin for his love with rebecca. (As Rebecca is seen worrying about the baby being Carvers) meaning he beat Kenny and Alvin seperately.
I'm with you in the Ben scene, I never understood why people think what he said was okay. I mean, the part where he defends himself and tells Kenny to leave him alone and stop wishing death on him, I guess that's alright since Kenny was being really cruel. But when Ben says that at least he said goodbye to his family, it's so stupid. I mean, HE is part of the reason they're dead. Kenny would rather never have 'said goodbye' to them and still have them with him, lmao.

People really like ignoring complexity. This is simplifying the entire situation. None of what happened justified killing him, and he wasn't the only one to blame for those deaths, and putting everything on one decision which was only a delay of what would've happened regardless is nonsensical.

19:22 I think Ben's death is diffenent from others. Kenny were always selfishly caring about his family, his plan and himself. He couldn't even get over the pain of losing his family after Lee dropped Ben in Crawford. Meanwhile, Lee, Clem, Ben and even Lilly, Hershel (Shawn's Dad in ep1 s1) also lost their family, too. [Lally was killed by Ken, Shawn was put in danger by Duck]. If you save Ben at Crawford, he is the only key that open Ken's compassion to people for the first time, helping him realize how selfish he was. Otherwise, Ken is still an asshole. Ben dies anyway, but his deaths are so diffenent. Not meaningless and stupid as Sarah's deaths. Edit: I also don''t like Ben at all. I can tell I hate him, but I feel poor for him at the same time.
there is no info on what happened to kenny in wellington ending, him drowning was a scraped ending for him in s3 if you go with him in s2, instead of the car crash, he would have walked into river water, singing and drowned himself. But it was scraped and I dont think kenny would kill himself, he didnt when his family died and now at least his family is alive and he has no reason to die
Also at 20:01, if you didn't know, Conrad can actually live to the ending, which makes him a very special character in my eyes, the fact that Conrad has multiple chances to die throughout the series but CAN survive if you save him is exactly what TellTale was going for, just less. AN7 you forgot to see what happened if you go for gabe and David with clementine, also conrad if you don't shoot him, give his gun back and save from the Kate crash vehicle conrad sirvive to the end of the game also dr.ligard. The objective is not killing people or making them angry, the objective is kepping them alive and happy.
Lee can get bit 3 times throughout the last episodes of season 1. The first one being the one that sealed his fate and the other 2 being ones that can happen during Lees battle with the herd of walkers when trying to get to clem. As you are playing Lee in the herd while Lee is fighting for his life to get to Clem, if u miss a quick time event twice, a walker would bite onto Lee’s shoulder and the other one would bite his neck only for him to push them off and walk away to kill other walkers.

Nah, his ass still fucks it up when he swings 😭 After he gets it stuck, he's like "Damn it, I had it!" He'll only kill it with the axe if you kept Doug alive. Doug will swoop in and try to help out with a piece of wood being like "I got him" (He tried his best 😭) Then whoever you gave the axe to will kill either Mr Parker or Travis depending on what happens in the woods. Since Carley died in the first episode, there wouldn't be anyone to shoot the walker!

It is very relevant whether you do something or someone else does it for you in general. When it comes to such important actions it's even more important and impactful. Lee shooting Duck is a way of easing Kenny's pain about this whole situation, just as Lee said "No parent should have to do something like this". Lee does this because he's got less connection with Duck than his own father so it would obviosly hurt him less than Kenny. How can you not see that and say "meh it doesn't matter who shoots, Duck's already dying"

If you asked me in your first playthrough you did amazing you were right 90% of the time (there are some better ones than what you watched). 1-I have 0 regrets in my season 1 2-My only regret in season 2 was going into wellington instead of with Kenny 3-Season 3 was a cluster fuck but i decided to make Javier more cold blooded because my Clementine was the sweetest with her family but a warrior against her enemies and always called people out on their bullshit 4-my only goals for season 4 were Make Aj able to survive without Clem and dont make him a cold blooded murderer. My only regret was not killing Lilly (I love the content and will always watch your videos and will always make me laugh and sorry for the long comment)

I would still highly recommend the Mass Effect trilogy if you guys have time to get around to it after Detroit. You thought you can do a lot of renegade choices in Walking Dead, just you wait.

There is also a death scene when you lose in S1 where duck turns into a walker in the train,kills katjaa,ben and you also see Clementine's hat laying on the moving train.
Then Duck chomps on a frozen Lee who couldn't process all this and then the "You are dead" scene pops up.
This happens when you don't convince kenny to stop the train and take too much time with it in doing so.
It is the longest "you are dead" scene followed by an another one in S3 when Javier gives a goodbye speech to Gabe.
These death scenes are very rare

Fun Fact: Did ya’ll know that there was originally going to be another ending for Season 2? The developers confirmed that there was an ending that involved Clementine & AJ alone in the snow, Clementine would see a light in the distance but is too weak to go see what it is due to hyperthermia. The game would give you the choice to either freeze to death or leave AJ to die. All of this was scrapped as the devs weren’t sure at the time if there would be a 3rd season so their solution was to create five different scenarios that would leave Clem’s story open-ended, just in case! Which I’m glad they ended up doing cuz I would’ve been upset if they did my two faves like that 😅

If Alvin didn't die in the raid in Episode 2, he would appear in Episode 3 beaten up and unresponsive. The scene where Carver introduces himself to Clem mentions like *that chair* will have Alvin's beaten body instead of nothing.

That’s the point of the series. Sadly, people are built for survival to a point but when you are pinned with humans against humans it’s instantly survival of the fittest. If no one died, it wouldn’t be an apocalypse. I think it also drives the point home to cherish the people you meet on the journey because they might not be around for tomorrow. Clem literally had trauma from everyone leaving or dying and had nightmares about saving AJ with the fear of losing him again. He was the first one to never leave her and actually stay till the end of season 4. For a game, the repetition does get old fast but these episodes are also not meant to be played in a binged order. Typically it was a few months before the next episode - excluding season three due to part 1 and 2 being released on the same day. So the experience of binging it all quickly with the knowledge of what happens kinda limits the experience sadly. It why people adore the comics and show since they had more ability to play around with the writing without it messing up the choice structure
One of my favorite choices In the series is if you let the time run out when Lee's dying, Clem will actually choose to either Kill or Leave Lee on her own depending on what you taught her throughout the game. too bad they didn't really follow it up with AJ in S4, wish if you taught him to be violent he would've just killed Lilly without your input lol

19:22 I think Ben's death is diffenent from others. Kenny were always selfishly caring about his family, his plan and himself. He couldn't even get over the pain of losing his family after Lee dropped Ben in Crawford. Meanwhile, Lee, Clem, Ben and even Lilly, Hershel (Shawn's Dad in ep1 s1) also lost their family, too. [Lally was killed by Ken, Shawn was put in danger by Duck]. If you save Ben at Crawford, he is the only key that open Ken's compassion to people for the first time, helping him realize how selfish he was. Otherwise, Ken is still an asshole. Ben dies anyway, but his deaths are so diffenent. Not meaningless and stupid as Sarah's deaths.
Edit: I also don''t like Ben at all. I can tell I hate him, but I feel poor for him at the same time.

Lee can get bit 3 times throughout the last episodes of season 1. The first one being the one that sealed his fate and the other 2 being ones that can happen during Lees battle with the herd of walkers when trying to get to clem. As you are playing Lee in the herd while Lee is fighting for his life to get to Clem, if u miss a quick time event twice, a walker would bite onto Lee’s shoulder and the other one would bite his neck only for him to push them off and walk away to kill other walkers.

It is very relevant whether you do something or someone else does it for you in general. When it comes to such important actions it's even more important and impactful. Lee shooting Duck is a way of easing Kenny's pain about this whole situation, just as Lee said "No parent should have to do something like this". Lee does this because he's got less connection with Duck than his own father so it would obviosly hurt him less than Kenny. How can you not see that and say "meh it doesn't matter who shoots, Duck's already dying"

U need to watch cut things from twd there is one scene where season 2 clem falls in the water loosing christa when walking in the woods there was suppose to be 2 paths to choose clem would climb a steep hill eventually loosing her hat eventually she would find the dog who has her hat in his mouth

If you asked me in your first playthrough you did amazing you were right 90% of the time (there are some better ones than what you watched).
1-I have 0 regrets in my season 1
2-My only regret in season 2 was going into wellington instead of with Kenny
3-Season 3 was a cluster fuck but i decided to make Javier more cold blooded because my Clementine was the sweetest with her family but a warrior against her enemies and always called people out on their bullshit
4-my only goals for season 4 were
Make Aj able to survive without Clem and dont make him a cold blooded murderer. My only regret was not killing Lilly
