    My personal preference will always be 20" barrel. Though that Tavor looking mighty fine.

    Looks comparable overall. All would be effective at these ranges.

    I have a buddy who has a fairly high-end AR pistol that's got an adjustable gas block he spent a fair bit of time tuning
    Compared to the Anderson carbine I had it was a fair bit softer shooting, I suspect my Anderson was over gassed

    I'd like an AR pistol because of the price. The Tavor is really cool, however isnt it a bit heavier than the pistol?

      Yes, briefly mentioned that towards the end of the video.

      It is heavier. But when you shoulder the “hole-puncher”, it feels lighter due to the weight being so much closer to your shoulder. X95 feels heavier when walking, running, and standing. But when in position, it feels half the weight.

      @nathanv9562 I like the idea of bullpups, however, bad triggers are something hard for me to get around due to injuries. The fact that I shoot rifle left-handed doesn't help a lot either!🙄😅

      @@chrislang5659 The fact that you shoot LH would make even more sense for the the Tavor since it can be easily set up for the LH and the casing ejection as well.

      The trigger is often upgraded to a Geissele. Brings the trigger weight down to about 4lbs and much more crisp and sharp.
      To each their own….

    Is there really a law where you can’t use a rifle scope on a pistol?

    • @BuckeyeBallistics
      @BuckeyeBallistics  Před 4 měsíci

      Yes

    • @randomguy1371
      @randomguy1371 Před 4 měsíci +1

      Not exactly. It is not law, it is in ATF's current "factoring criteria" for a pistol, same rule that says pistol braces are stocks. It is currently injoined in a lawsuit, some people are being extra safe and following the rule even tho it's not currently allowed to be enforced.
      A scope with eye relief that requires you to shoulder it to use it would indicate an sbr not a pistol according to atfs rule.

    • @BuckeyeBallistics
      @BuckeyeBallistics  Před 4 měsíci

      It makes it a rifle which makes it an SBR because of the short barrel length. So again, illegal unless I suppose you get the tax stamp and register it as an SBR...

    • @Getusom
      @Getusom Před 4 měsíci +3

      Last time I checked. ATF doesn’t make laws nor can they tell you what and what not you can have…you can have a scope on your a r pistol if you want

    • @randomguy1371
      @randomguy1371 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @BuckeyeBallistics according to atf, who also says a pistol brace makes it a rifle because it's designed to be shouldered... which there is currently an injunction against that rules enforcement.

    So🤔 just to be a jerk😂😂 a carbine, hhmm depends realy, i have a marlin camp 45,, technically its a carbine, i know several habe an old m1 carbine, and so on and so on,, ,idk, just for fun,, is a mini 14 a carbine as well🤔 wht is a carbine

    • @BuckeyeBallistics
      @BuckeyeBallistics  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yes a mini-14 is a carbine. If I called a 16" AR a rifle then there would be tons of guys on here yanking my chain saying it's a carbine. Not sure the official "rules" on it or anything, but I briefly read under 20" is carbine while 20" plus is rifle. But I'm sure it depends on who you ask...

      @@BuckeyeBallistics I was just saying stuff for fun,, it's all good, a d technically any rifle, with a 16.5 in barrel is a carbine 👍 technically, so my Marlin camp, my Marlin 70hc 22, my highpoint 9, and even my antique 22 lr drop block, single shot, are all carbines
