If you take scraps and piece of backing you can make a scrappy bag. Especially if they were like colors. It would be beautiful! Start by sorting the fabric and then sew them into panels to use. Good luck

Thanks for the tip! I've been collecting all my scraps but haven't done anything with them yet.

I’ve been wanting to make a flat iron shawl. I tend to be a tight crocheter as well so maybe I’ll start with a larger size.
Definitely not a waste of fabric. You could always use scraps to make patchwork pencil bags! Or small snack/sandwich sized bags. We love our very scrappy reusable bags that I made the girls for school snack.

That's a great idea! I have yet to try piecing a panel together for a bag. My flatiron is looking pretty tight - even after going up a hook size further than I thought was going to work.

It's not a waste of fabric, it's more for your quilt.

Wait! What was the double-sticky tape? Did you sew that also? Did you explain this in another video?

Yes, I showed that before but we can go over it again. It's Dritz Wash Away Wonder Tape. You can sew through it!

If I use cotton for all parts, would I use sf101 plus decovil lite?

Yes, I would use SF101 as a protective layer as the Decovil can sometimes pucker if directly on the cotton. You can piece the middle and front together and then attach a piece of Decovil - that way the front seams aren't too thick. Happy sewing!
