Simple but very instructional video. However, I recommend a 14 mm hex bit socket with a 6” extension and 24” long breaker bar as the best toolset for the job. Also, I use SAE 85W-90 gear oil as per MB recommendation. I used Liqui Moly 85W-90 gear oil Part No. 20010.
@@farhadmalekasghar945 okay I just got done doing it. The diff fuild wasn't that black,it was like a dark golden brown ive had this car for 2 years who ever had it before me must of been on top of there mantanice thx for the help

That was stupid smart to take the filler plug off first. Its those little things that matter. I tried mine and gave up had a local shop do it, My plugs were on super tight could not get them off,
have a question! did you check your wires harness tubing on top of the transsmision by the throttle and the one for the alternator mine was real bad need to replace it was cracking out in pieces !!!

that's mineral based oil, I use amsoil 75w90 on my e55, no problem after 50k mile
