United L-1011 Departs Chicago O'Hare International Airport in FOG

Foggy departure from Chicago O'Hare International Airport on a United Airlines L-1011. I know, the aircraft lighting is not the best... and there is no wing flex with this module... Sorry. Love the L-1011 aircraft anyway...

I flew the L-1011-500 at United. We brought 6 with us from Pan Am with the Pacific sale in '86. We had the best Dispatch Reliability and On Time Departure stats of any fleet at UAL. It was a magnificent airplane! 1011 Drivers are almost a Cult! With the 767-300 on the horizon and a lot of Diesel 10's around, the Tristar wasn't a good fit for United- but I sure missed the old Gal!
