Would you use this black light for Halloween houses or mazes?
I know the video is old but I've been looking everywhere online and I couldn't find any information on what wavelenght Fluorescent blacklights are,since I made myself a small lighting solution of just 8 of those small ones for my room with a few UV reactive paintings, and It works really well,and they are also extremely cheap in my country (one of those 9W Tubes costs less than 1 euro),so I thought that because they are so cheap they probably aren't 365nm but,judging from the fact that even when the room is in full-blackout there isn't any purpleglow around the room, in fact the rooms just looks very slightly bathed in gentle White-ish Blue.
My question is,are all fluorescent lamps 365nm?
And if so,why are they even cheaper than most 395nm LED solutions?
@@legend131000 Most fluorescent are in the 365nm wavelength. They're cheaper than most LED solutions cause fluorescent is old technology. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching!

Any idea how to go about hardwiring them? I want to get a few to mount on my ceiling and run them all to one switch on the wall (a regular wall light switch), as i have UV carpeting in my home arcade!

Unfortunately I’m not that technical on electrical. I also wouldn’t recommend these for ceiling and lighting up the ground. It might not be powerful enough.

but im abit lost on the site. you have to buy power cords as well as the lamp, but they are only 12'' in lenght. if i want it longer do i need 2 power cords or 1 power cord and x more inches in link cord?
Edit: i think i found out, but they only seem to send to USA. Do you have any other uv lights that send to europe as well?
@falsy fx No problem! They ship internationally, you just have to give them a call. If your 220V then I would recommend their SableLED lamps. Give them a call they can help you out alot!
Can't find the 12 inch on the website. Need something less than 18 inches for small glass rose that glows under black light. Under led black lights from Amazon it glows green, under black light it glows blue, not sure why. Can you help?

I need a solution where the light is hidden in the corner wall/ceiling and shine down along the wall, straight down, to illuminate invisible blacklight paint. Do you think these are a good option, or do these work better lighting things from the front.
How big of an area are we talking about here? It’s hard to get good spread with these lights if it’s on the wall, you kind of need to have an angle.
How did you manage to expose the pigments on the paint using uv lights on camera??
Try using low light aperture, I think that’s what it is called. I’m not really a camera guy, so that’s as far as I can help sorry! Or, you can use an iPhone or Android. Those usually adjust well with glow.

@@UVBlackLights don't worry going to work out super well and is in a glow-in-the-dark that's the best part about me loving blacklights so much I had a bunch of black lights but they broke instantly but don't worry the one that I'm going to get 12 inches and it was going to look cool
