Here is the latest German EMU for S-bahnverkehr, Baureihe 430.
I recorded at early morning on S-bahn Rhein-Main S1.

When I used to work in Frankfurt Nieder-Eschbach in the mid 1990s, I would take a 5:40 AM S-Bahn from Farbwerke to Hauptwache and take the U-2 train to Kalbach and take the bus the rest of the way.
I love this sound also.

This train has the same sound as the ET 422! Any other trains that has almost the same sound as this train?
ET 423 sounds very similar. However, that train uses a different inverter (2 different ones actually, depending on how old the train is) and that one sounds a bit different, so the sound isn't exactly the same. But it has the same characteristic (loud) engine sound.
Almost all S8 trains in Frankfurt use the ET 430. There are still the ET 423s on other routes. I have not seen any ET 420s since 2007.
Well the ET420 Units were still at the Service in Year 2007. Unfortuntaly the ET420 Units got officially retired on the 3 Noember.2014
I respect the opinion on the IGBT sound.

Du hast Bonbardier statt Bombardier geschrieben.
Wo fahren denn diese geilen Züge?
Die Sounds am Anfang erinnern mich etwas an die Sbahn Rhein Ruhe. 🤔
Sind im Grunde die gleichen. Nur ist dieser Zug quasi die 2.0 von der Rhein Ruhr

In Rhein Main Gebiet und in Stuttgart fahren die Baureihe 430
In S Bahn Rhein Main Netz die S1,S8, S9 im Regelbetrieb.

Wenn du dir ein AMG kaufst wirst du doch auch den Sound geil finden oder net
