As an Afro producer that learns pop from you, I appreciate this. You should actually try and get this placed
Thank you!! May have to try and send it out!
@@MakePopMusic Awesome, try and get it to Mavins record and Jonzing world. They’d love it
How do you produce a hair style? Was Billy Ray Cyrus a mullet producer?
He's right
@@greglr19751L joke
White, black, or other, it's about having a love for music as a whole.
Syncopated layers are so underrated in production/songwriting. Bravo with the Wildly Vibey patch making it more felt than heard to support the rest of the song! Nice work, my guy.
I've been subscribed as a Nigerian producer for abt a year and you doing this vid is making me emotional 😭😭❤
Thanks for watching! 😁
I am a subscriber for more than 2 years. What i have learn from your channel is much more appreciate. This one is dope. Thank you make pop music for sharing. Am still learning to produce beat. Much love from Cameroon 🇨🇲🇨🇲
I think one of the most important parts you discussed was the clave. It’s the rhythmic center & literally makes all the development so natural. Thanks for putting in the real effort.
This is why your channel is the best on CZcams! Detail! Every detail!
I produce and mix Afrobeat music and I learnt 80% of what I know on mixing from your channel... seeing a video on Afrobeat a here is so nice. I hope to see more on vocal mixing too 🔥🔥
Will do more on vocal mixing! Want to see anything specific??
@@MakePopMusic thanks a lot. Yh I have a very specific example. Will drop a message on Instagram
I just sent you an email. 🙏 Look forward to getting a reply
4k is crystal clear
Thank you! Just upgraded our whole filming rig!
Really admire your skills and videos. Thanks man. Bought the synergy pack too and it's fire.
Music doesn't see race - love all the different genres you're tackling! Absolutely killing it
Just wanna make sure i show respect to other cultures I try my hand at 😁
@@MakePopMusic The fact that it even came up makes me sad. stay Blessed
I'm Working on my first Afro beat, Tapping into my Nigerian roots lol I think you explained it very well. I feel like my current beat needs more body and I think I know what to do "maybe"
Just subscribed to your channel after watching this episode. You are really good at what you do. Keep it up bro.
ayyooo bigups. sounds sick man
Great Video Austin. Great Vibe. You inspire me every Single Friday to Kick my ass and Go Make Music. Thank You!!
This is lovely considering the fact that you aren't an 'authority' in this genre. Sounds better than most songs I hear on the radio. Great job.
This is a great vid. Much love from Ghana.
Bro you need to do more of these. I actually only come to this channel for straight pop tutorials and Samy beats and POJ beatz take care of the afro part. But this is fire
Such an awesome video! I can't wait to be able to take your course Producer's Principles 101!
Thank you so much!!
You nailed it mate. it's a banger!!
This turned out really nicely 👌
As they say in Nigeria "you try"😄👍, well done Dude, this was good to watch
This is Dope Bro 🔥🔥🔥🚀
This was absolutely 💯 amazing. A hit record!
Thanks for this video. I think one thing to actually note about Afrobeats is the 3-2 clave. There is always a musical element (not always the drums but mostly some percussive sound) that has this beat.
Without it, it sounds like Dancehall music than it sounds like Afrobeats.
and finally, it's not always instrumentally heavy too as it relies more on vocal gimmicks than it does instrumental ones.
This is gold man. Thank you!
Dude, you're awesome, thanks, great video
He nails it everytime
You're a great musician. Respect
You talented as hell dude!
you're good bro🔥🔥🔥 i'm a haitian producer and i follow you because i like your process
You really understand the structure of producing afrobeat but whats missing os just the right choice of instruments. good job!
So amazing.
this is great! 🔥🔥🔥
learning more about Clave rhythms really changed my life when it came to producing
Well done man ✌🏾

We need more of this video ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ll have to do a follow up!
first video I watch from you. I am producing hip hop, but it was intersting to see how you arranged that song. Especially what you do with the vocals 👍🏻

This is a big vibe. Afrobeat to the world 🔥
Appreciate you!

Very Good!!!
You my mentor man my songs a sounding pro

good job!
🔥🔥🔥
Man, you make the best beats ever. Plus I didn't realize you used CuBase. For some reason I thought you used Logic
fire
ooooo hohoooo beauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutiful
Production is fire...This is more Afroswing/Caribbean Pop than Afrobeats though.
Could you do a video on how to make pop house (joel corry, david guetta style)
Hey Austin! would you make a video on how to make a song like aries, keshi or etc. would love to see you make this kind of genre. Great video like always anyways!
Adding it to the list!!
C'mon Austin, this is fire!
Afrobeat (Naija Beat) is danceable
Afroswing (which you just produced) is sexy and hot
AfroPiano (Afrobeats + Amapiano) [trending currently] is groovy, hybrid and can unite a lot of races because of the blend between many genres.
There are more categories, but those 3 are the most famous.
A lot of black guys teach garbage in their Afrobeat tutorials. You nailed yours. The preview in the begining of your videos makes the difference because you show the final product so people can make up their mind on whether or not they found what they were searching for. In other guys videos, you will watch 10 to 20 minutes, hoping for a good result at the end, but they just end up creating unfinished sounding 16 bars loops. Therefore, if you release more tutorials, you can overtake them and be well referenced on CZcams in the "Afrobeat Tutorial" field.
Well done! Much Love From The Congo!
He’s right this feels more Afro swing like a jae5 beat for j hus simba and burna
Nice track!
This is 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!!
Perfect
Hi, in cubase studio setup, do you use the record shift feature (and adjust samples)?
I love it ❤
different but cool!
🔥
Heyyy I love your tutorials!!! have you ever done a video on a more reggeton pop style. Like Becky g or fonzy. If not would you please consider it!!!! 🙏🙏🙏❤
I haven't but I'm definitely down!

🤩🤩😍😍😍
Hey Boss wanna learn from more you, from SouthEast Africa Malawi
Amazing video Thank you very much for this amazing content if you can make a video about music like "James Arthur" in the style of his album: "make sense in the end" it would be amazing Their daughter to illustrate the song style will listen to his song "sos"❤
Tell us about how the After Hours album was made in sound engineering..I hope you know
Do more afrobeats. You can see we want more. More afrobeats. More views.
