As long as there's air in your lungs, it's never too late. Good for you .... !! I hope that you found someone who interprets the Word, as written, diligently and thoroughly. I say that because, often time people skip through passages which have so many significant biblical messages, revelance in everything we do, say, think and believe.
People who take a shortcut, shortcut the powerful transformation that takes place, from repentance, to redemption, restoration, obidience, which results in Revelations and spiritual discernment, intimacy with God and a kingdom mindset, not a wordly one. The outcome is freedom from bondage and self through the Grace of God's complete unconditional love; with that, one can find hope and joy, in the most horrible of situations, even in the face of death. The more you invest in the Word and God and less in the world, the greater freedom you'll have.
Having a visual def helps...... Whoever you find to learn and study the Word from, always remember, the delivery of the message, is just as important as the message itself. Be very careful; there is, especially now, a rise in deception in Christianity. That is why it's mentioned in scripture so many times about false prophets....... ; )

I would say that these animations are just a quick introduction to the Bible for someone who doesn’t know the Bible. I also find them enjoyable as I am reviewing the Bible that I don’t read much, the Old Testament. Of course an in-depth study of the Bible is the best way to understand it fully.

Visual aids are good for a quick summary of literal events; its purpose is to help, not replace, the Word. It can't possibly capture every event, interpretation, every poetic message and if the did, it would shortcut God's transformation of self which comes the Word, itself. The OT is just as important as the NT in understanding the character of God. Paul understood that when he wrote Revelations ; )

God NEVER sent prophets to the caananites to get them to "repent". He only sent prophets and priests to His people, Israel.
How is what the Canaanites were doing any different than the blood sacrifices God made his people do in return for their sins too? Those innocent lambs are babies too, baby sheep. They’re sentient beings who would’ve suffered all the same. It’s literally the exact same thing! Sacrificing the life of an innocent baby for a god who demands a blood sacrifice to pay for your own sins. Am I really the only person who sees this??

There's no place in scripture where there's a false god by the name queen of heaven this is incredibly inaccurate and an obvious jab to the Catholics which also didn't exist in this time line...
