  • Guess who thought AMG's were mostly dragsters? This guy! Until spending time with the razor-sharp C43 Coupe and its incredible handling precision.
We kick this off with a Race Start at 4.3-seconds to 60-mph then hit the road course to examine the handling.

My bone stock 2017 C43 Sedan ran 0-60 in 4.0 seconds on stock tires at 1000' elevation.
The key is to put the car into Sport + and then set the suspension manually back to Comfort
Mode so the car will squat on launch then apply the brakes and bring the RPM up and release
as the tach swings up to 2500 RPM then let it auto shift. Mercedes was very conservative
with the performance numbers because they don't want to take away C63 sales.
I also ran 12.80 bone stock, times were all measured with the Draggy Box with no 1' Rollout.
One correction, the C43 has one turbo per cylinder bank (Bi Turbo) Twin Turbo is when you
connect two turbos back to back off one cylinder bank.
Numerous tuners have "stage 2" tunes that will take this to 500 horse at the flywheel, 430
horse at all four wheels. I am running a Stage 2 tune and catless down pipes and those two
mods put the car into the mid 3's to 60MPH and the 1/4 in the mid to high 11's.
    Great vid, great review!

Brett DiMichele Studios thanks Brett!! I totally believe the 4.0. The 4.38 i got was on second try so can easily see it improving.
Great info on the turbo setup. Makes sense. Thanks for watching!!! Here’s to hoping i get to review more Mercedes models 😻😻😻

Like the layout of the vid. I purchased the C43 in the UK, optioned up to the hilt. This is a daily driver with the smile put back into driving, when I am asked about the car, I simply say 'I still have my license', its perfect for my needs and it looks and sounds so good. I don't need a track car, but with the 4matic and included free training at Mercedes Brooklands circuit, I feel more confident handling the instant power

It is a 9-speed torque converter automatic guys. I meant to say that but said twin clutch by mistake @4:38

Nice video! I bought a ‘19 c43 coupe last July and absolutely love it.
You also remind me of Will Sasso from Mad Tv lol.

Loving my '23 coupe! Last of theV6 biturbo 4-Matics. I'm "old", so this is my last vehicle. This EDC vehicle is the best of all worlds.

The TCT for the 9 Shift acutally means Torque Converter Technology and sadly not twin clutch transmission other than that they simply improved the software side for the c43amg to adjust shift timings ect.

I have a C43 AMG Cabriolet. It's a lovely car. It gets 30mpg on a road trip. Gets LOTS of comments and looks......BUT....the tires and wheels are very fragile. I have had 5 or 6 flat tires and 3 cracked wheels. I'm always only one 2" deep pothole away from a significant expense and inconvenience. For this reason, I am very reluctant to take it out of town. I have had other cars with low profile or run flat tires and not had this issue in identical road conditions. I've noticed on several MB forums that others are having this problem as well.

That sucks! Try getting your tires filled with nitrogen instead of just oxygen. It can help reduce that.

Changed from run flat to Michelin PS 4S made a big difference. From eliminating juddering/crabbing issue, reduced road noise and adding slightly more smoothness to the ride.

@@metalstorm45, so...that's not a run flat or even a "low profile" tire? Did you have to get different rims?
