It’s not bad I have a GoPro black 9 and I attached it to top of drone. Sent it up and got beautiful pictures and videos. I thought the weight would make it bad but it did not. Ran smooth n beautiful.
Yeah adding a gopro would make a huge difference though with the short flight time I can only imagine how much shorter is is now with the additional weight. My biggest worry attaching a gopro would be losing an action camera that's worth more than the drone :)
@@RDsRCReviewsI’ve seen a go pro dropped from a guy that was skydiving and it fell over 5,000ft and was perfectly fine. I forget the story but it was on some local news station. I’m willing to bet money it’s here on CZcams. So the least of your worries should be losing your go pro from that height.

I have this drone and a mini 2 and a parrot bebop. I'll fly potensic and enjoy drifting in the air when I don't want to use my camera. It's the one i fly the most actually....good review. I agree with you on this drone.
I can't believe how much corn is there now since we flew there together last year. It's great to see you fly a different spot! Still a good one for GPS drones like this but it will be bad if other quads go down in all of that corn! :D

It flies well but it is overpriced and the fight time is abysmal and the camera has way too much Jello and dropped frames off the sdcard.

I have had this Drone for years, and it still flys strong….I’m going to buy more batteries for it.
I’m thinking about buying a black one.
I have left this drone to hover over my property….and went inside it didn’t move from its spot, until the battery died….and landed itself when the battery died.
Love this little drone.
The biggest problem is the short flight time and awful camera.
It’s a good Beginners drone’ I had the $99 dollar pos tactical drone’ a huge scam’ and my Already broken Vivtar 360’ the Potensic-GPS drone is one of my most Reliable drones.
The Tactical Drone’ I bought off a CZcams ad’ I’m too scared to fly’ so that’s still in one piece…once I’m used to the Potensic-GPS….I will buy a more expensive drone…..this drone is kinda like buying you’re son his first car, once he’s learned to drive….then you buy him a more expensive car….lol

The Potensic-GPS can’t keep up….so I have to keep it at a high Altitude, and it doesn’t make a good E-bike video.

Most ppl are honest….but if it’s a $1000 dollar drone, or a drone you built….forget about it’ they will keep it and take the go pro off…..I had ppl shoot BB guns at my drone….on the 4th of July I wanted to get a nice view of the fireworks, and ppl decided to try to shoot it down with mortars.
My Potensic-GPS drone still shows the scars of the fire work encounter….Lol

Bought this drone yesterday. Received it today. Amazon for the win. Lol. The follow me works well. I'm not happy with the camera though. But not bad for the price. I will definitely be upgrading.
Yeah, and the flight time is pitiful too but it does fly really well.
I was given one of these today for Christmas. Seems like a nice drone, haven’t set it up yet plan to tomorrow. Over all I don’t plan to be making movie masterpieces with or for CZcams but mostly for hovering to places to inspect structures before I pull out an extension ladder. Mostly to learn before I drop $600-$1500 on a hood one. I’ll see how it goes.
Honestly, it's a POS. It flies fine but the camera is awful and full of Jello wobble and it barely flies 6 mins. You can get a drone line the Mini SE for $299 that destroys this drone in every conceivable way. Unless this drone cost well under $100 it simply isn't worth it. Sorry if I come across as harsh but this drone was ok for its time but I hate to see anyone waste their money on it now unless it was practically free.
@@RDsRCReviews it was free to me at least. 🤣 it will work to learn and for inspections, I’ll by a really nice one later that allows for more accessories and functionality. This is just a beginner anyway. Was a gift from who thought it was a nice “cheap” gift.
@@schoon3303 hopefully it didn't cost much. It used to be important to learn to fly with a toy drone first but these expensive GPS drones have become so good that that is no longer the case.
The battery life on this drone is disappointing but we are new to droning, so it’s a good starter drone for me and my 9 year old son. I might buy a few extra batteries so we can extend our drone sessions. Thanks for posting the video.
Yes the battery life is very disappointing and the camera has way too much jello even for a toy drone but it does fly good which is most important.

Good flight review Ryan, you really but that thing through it paces. It flew ok, but it seems a little over-priced, these things should be no more $100. All the beeping sounds you pointed out in the video would make me think twice about getting it.
Agreed! At $80 it would be a solid quad but at its current price of $139 it is just too much. There are much better brushless options at that price.

It flies great just has a terrible flight time and the camera is so full of jello wobble that it renders it useless.

Good review, its a shame it drops frames on the SD card recordings, that's odd. This looks like a identical rebrand of the SJRC S20W GPS toy grade GPS quad. If I recall the S20W had a quarter mile range... Even the transmitter is the exact same PlayStation style controller

Problem is not everyone is willing to save up for longer to get the mini/mini 2 so I review these cheaper drones to let them now which cheaper drones are at least decent.
I've got full bars of satellite but when I press "follow me" it says weak GPS

It follows the GPS of your phone so both your phone and the drone need good GPS locks. It sounds like your phone has a poor GPS signal.
technical assistance ...... The equipment that I bought does not work in Ecuador ... it does not rise more than 5 centimeters from the take-off place ...... what could it be ... your help please
All I can recommend you do is try doing a gyro calibration.
You can control the drone through the app also and when you do, the controller doesn’t deep. You can take off, do follow me, and record and take photos and return home all with the app also.
This is correct though I find drones are much harder to control when flying by virtual sticks. Wi-Fi controls also tend to have much less range and are more prone to Wi-Fi interference.

I'm not sure which one it uses but likely N but it doesn't matter. It used 2.4ghz so any phone will connect to it.

Yeah, it flies well enough but the awful camera combined with an abysmal flight time made it hard to recommend at the time especially for the price it was selling for back then.

Hi, I am looking for a drone with good quality footage. I would like to be able to use the drone for visual effects so the footage quality is important. Could you please advise one?
You'll need to go with the Mavic Mini or better drone. The Fimi X8 SE 2020 is also a good choice. None of these toy drones have good enough cameras for what you are wanting to do.

Yep, that beeping is super annoying! It's not a very good drone for the steep price. Short flight time and awful Jello filled video. Check out my videos for the Eachine EX4. You can get it for $30-50 more and it is brushless with a real 3 axis hormonal and 1KM range. Way way better drone!

It can't and all you would hear is the prop noise anyway. That's why they don't use mics on drones.
What vr googles work with the t25 and iPhone
no idea as I've never used VR goggles but be mindful of the lag. It's just a gimmick on these toys.

There's no way to really know that and I no longer own the drone. It uses brushed motors so it won't be able to carry much extra weight.
My t25 syncs up but won't fly .got camera and gimbal but no props
I had a problem with my camera connecting to my phone. I connected to the wifi but it doesn't appear. Not sure how to fix this
Try turning on "airplane mode" on your phone then re-enable your Wi-Fi and see if that makes it work.

@@JustGillMe that correct because the flight time is so short at 6 mins that I didn't have enough time to rest that. It is not a good drone and I don't recommend it. The D58 is much better.

No definitely not. Look at this review. The drone is terrible. The camera is awful and full of Jello wobble and it only flies 6:30 mins which is awful. Get a Bugs 20 or 12.

150 meters? Wow. That is pretty far distance, you sure about that? My Parrot bebop 2 drone max at 150 meters elevation. That's a lot. Bet this drone get some pretty good air shots
Yes, 150m is not that far and rather common but the camera and flight time on this drone we garbage. 6.5 mins flight time and the camera is full of jello. There are much better drones than this for just a little bit more.
How do you know the live altitude and how far it is as you're using it?
The fpv Wi-Fi app gives you your altitude and distance in meters.

I have a IPhone 8 Plus but in the app say that IPhone 8 Plus is not able, what can I do ?
So it doesn't work with your phone? It should as the iPhone 8 a few years old phone. If it doesn't then you'll need to try using a cheap android tablet/phone.
Do you know how to change the speed? I just got this one and it’s on level 2 but I want to slow it down.. owners manual is useless

@@Hurc actually it may be the unboxing so it is possible I didn't know the buttons too well when I filmed that. I normally try to show the speed rates but sometimes I forget for GPS drones because there's so much to cover.
Can it look straight down at the ground and zoom in?
It can tilt down though I'm uncertain if it'll look straight down. I also can't remember if it'll zoom. I don't think so but even if it does the camera is so bad combined with it being a digital zoom that it'll be trash anyway.

The one thing I hate more than the quads that have flashing lights when recording video, is the ones that their transmitters freakin' beep!!! How in the hell are we supposed to know when the beeps & flashes are warnings or not? What da hell are these companies thinking of? Maybe it's a Chinese thing!!! POW!!!
I know! It is so annoying and silly. I don't mind if they make the controller beep on LVC but the beeping or flashing lights when recording is terrible because as you said you don't know when the quad has reached LVC. Thanks for stopping by DJ!!
If you take photos or videos by pressing on the icon on the phone screen instead of the controller, it doesn't beep.
I had this drone, and to be 100% honest, it was one of the worst drones I have ever owned. For four solid reasons:
1. The camera is jittery, and even drops Frames when I bought an SD card for it.
2. The range is horrible. Couldn’t go thirty feet out before the drone decided to disconnect.
3. It’s really unstable. This drone came flying out of the sky probably about six times because it couldn’t handle tiny breezes.
4. The drone doesn’t even know how to return to home! I lost one of mine because it went in the opposite direction of where the home point was, and I had to contact potensic to purchase another one. The second one still had issues.
Don’t get me wrong, potensic is a great company, but I’ll never be purchasing a quad from them again. I got a Phantom 4 instead.
That's odd because I got 150m range and it flew great. It just doesn't fly long as you said and the camera is terrible.

Potensic support does not answer emails. Good luck contacting them if you have a problem. My Potensic sits inoperable on the shelf, still under warranty.

The new MJX Bugs 20 is by far the best choice.
There are none. You're talking about 300 - 1000 dollar drones with that kind of distance.
@@jeremytucker8853 actually this is no longer true. The Bugs 20/12 has a flight time of over 25 mins and takes great electronic stabilized video and you can get one for around $160.
@@RDsRCReviews I must be doing something wrong because I have a parrot bebop 2 drone with a sky controller and my elevation max out at 150 meters. I keep hearing that the max is 300 meters but I have yet to find that setting. Distance is 2.2km.
@@jeremytucker8853 150m is around 400ft which in the USA is the legal maximum height you can fly so I bet the Parrot has a height restriction that you hopefully can disable in the app. It sounds like it is geofenced. On most drones you can increase the flight height and distance in the app.

At this price range not many exist though a few have slightly better cameras. For $240 you can get a Hubsan Zino which is 100x better. I have one coming and I'll be reviewing it. I can hook you up at the $240 price but it isn't listed that low on the site. If you're interested let me know.

Absolutely not! This drone is awful in 2023. Its flight time is barely 6 mins and the camera is the worst I've ever seen. Look at the jello wobble in the camera!! Just get a DJI Mini SE and you'll be happy!

@@bradmann3075 I get many drones to review. I already had the Autel EVO at that time. This drone was just filmed for a review. I have had hundreds of drones. My other good GPS drones I have now besides the EVO is the Mavic Mini and the Fimi X8 SE 2020.

Thanks for fixing the post! I don't recall the drone beeping when recording. However this was filmed 2 years ago so my memory in this drone is fuzzy.

I hate compass calibrations , i never do them. They are overrated. I Flew my Phantom 3 the other day, the last time i calibrated that was 3 years ago
I know. I have them too though some of these toys force you to do them before they will fly. Thankfully the compass calibration on this quad is super easy and quick. I've only calibrated the compass maybe 3 times in a year for the EVO. One was mandatory after a firmware update. They are very overrated. You shouldn't have to calibrate a compass unless you travel over 100km. Hell, I forgot to do it with the Breeze you sent me and it had no problems. Btw, I had my dad take the Breeze to Colorado to get some pics. I did have him calibrate the compass just to be safe.
I know that calibration sucks, but you should really calibrate it, not every flight but often

@@AidenShingler DJI Mini SE! You can get it is low as $279 and it is a million times better. It has a 3-axis stabilized gimbal and a camera that actually looks good. The T25 lacks any stabilization and the camera is awful and full of Jello wobble. Also, the Mini SE can fly for over 20 mins and the T25 has the worst flight time I've seen of any GPS drone at like 6 mins. The T25 is an awful drone to buy in 2022.

@@lucianodigiesi1640 yeah sorry I just realized that. Even at $290 it is a steal. How much is it showing with one battery and no bag? The H501S is old and had a fixed camera with no stabilization and it'll be way overpriced on Amazon. If $290 is too much for your budget then I'd wait for them to run another coupon. They constantly run coupons for the Zino on Bangggood.

@@RDsRCReviews I had the potensic d18 and it broke on the first day and i then got a replacement one that broke the same day I got it as well. so I then got the dji Mavic mini 8 months ago and nothing has gone wrong so far.

Recording using the app not the controller eliminates the beeping.

or a used Mavic Mini
For me i would add a few hundred dollars and buy a used mavic pro drone and get the 30 minute flight time and stable camera when flying with the 3 axis gimbal. There are tons of used mavic pro's out there and its not hard to find a good used one for less than $400. But as for the drone you just shower us that more of a 50 to 75 dollar drone and for me thumbs down all the way for the drone. I would buy it for my 10 year old grandson for 50 but no more than that. Thanks for the video and showing what it really cannot do.

Yes but not from a brushed motor quad. A brushless motor drone I would agree. I never hand catch a brushless motor drone but brushed are simply not powerful enough to do much damage though it'll still really sting.

I don't know what to tell you. Return to home uses the GPS of the drone where we Follow Me uses both the drones GPS and your phone's GPS. Make sure you have a good GPS lock before takeoff. That's the only thing I can think of it being. Depending on your location a good GPS lock can take several minutes to acquire.

Keep in mind that the entire world uses metric except the United States. I don't know the metric system well because I grew up with the imperial system but even the UK uses metric and they are the ones that developed the imperial system. The metric system makes way more sense than imperial. 1000m in a KM. 100cm in a meter. Isn't that better than 5280 feet in a mile or 12 inches in a foot? The imperial system is all old and sloppy system. Can you imagine if they used imperial in science? Anyway, I'm so accustomed to imperial especially for measuring speed that I couldn't easily adjust to a permanent switch to metric. Remember this drone is made in China. It is a rebranded UDI. The Chinese use metric. They don't think to have an option to charge it to imperial for Americans.

No, no toy drones can zoom. Some high end GPS drones such as the Evo can do a digital zoom but the toy cameras are too poor to do that. The only drones with good lossless zoom are the Parrot Anafu and the Mavic Pro 2 Zoom.

This is by far the worst drone I have encountered because when I was changing one of the propellers the screw just flew out and I could not find it and I remembered the dji phantom 4 just clicks and the battery drains out really fast
