it was around 3pm, it was cloudy, winter gray, less people, falling orange leaves and naked trees, i was slow walking alone with a book on my right hand when i put the whole album on shuffle and after sometime the clouds started to cry gently after i sat down on a bench and watched the river soak up the mix of leaves and slow rain. leaned my head back and closed my eyes after short look at the gray ocean of clouds. i didn't have an umbrella even knowing it could rain..
At some point i saw one duck that was swimming against the flow of the river and it looked like it was just still but he was actually just balanced. that reminded me of life.. and love..

After actually reading the lyrics to this song, it started hitting me harder than anything else on this album. If these lyrics are based on a real experience, all I can say is wow. The pain and heartbreak conveyed through this song is intense. Really brings out the loneliness I feel sometimes; sure, that's not what this song is about necessarily, but for some reason it hits me in that way.
This song is the "finale" to the songs Greg wrote about the same person/relationship
"K", "Sweet", "Affection" and "Touch" are about the same relationship the singer had, so yeah, based on a real experience

It hits even more understanding the lyrics. It’s very painful, the fact that the meaning of this song can actually relate to reality. That’s the hurtful truth, it relates to some’s situation. This song soothes me. Like being rocked again as a young child... Id be a terrible partner to anyone because my soul is tired. When Im with people I love and feel completely comfortable with, my first thought is to sleep. My idea of love is being able to rest on someone. Something about having someone I love there to hold me, even when I can't hold myself, it calms me. It eases all my pain.
