    I'm a simple man. My team gets to a mission objective, I throw an HMG Emplacement down to defend them alongside my Spear for heavies. It really is that simple 😊

    Fun fact: the HMG turret is the only turret which is ignored by enemies until you are seated in it, giving it an advantage over the Gatling or machine turret.

      @Background_Gaming. huuuuuuge fact. It's one of the more skill based strats because of its lack of mobility. It takes alot of combat awareness and good site locating. But it is sooooo juicy when you do lolol

    Glad the Turret MG is getting some love. One tip I learned from someone is when holding an objective, try to call multiple quasars if that's what you're running. Once you fire one, pick up another that's ready while the first is on cooldown and keep alternating. Cool vid bro🤙

      Yep me and my squad do this. Those drop ships just fall down like flies before they can even drop the enemies

      if you have a supply drop next to you, recoilless does the same job but faster with the reload cancel

      @@Background_Gaming. as soon as you see the shell icon in the bottom left turn white, it's loaded and you can press crouch to skip the rest of the animation. you can also go by the "shunk" noise it makes when you put the shell in
      (sorry if I spoiled it)

    I honestly believe that there is no better feeling than calling down an HMG emplacement at the perfect angle and just spitting lead down range

    Fun Fact: HMG turret is the only turret that won't 'delete' itself as long as there is still ammunition when you call down a new one after the cooldown ends. Essentially they are permanent. So you can drop one down at the extraction zone, only to use them later on.

    It is definitely underrated, especially if you can find a good spot behind and above your teammates, who'll draw the bot's aggro and rockets away from you. Like the HMG, it only takes a few headshots to hulks to bring them down.

    HMG emplacement + RR and EAT for drop ships + Shield relay
    I think this is a decent support role since most players bring eagles and 380

    I absolutely love the HMG turret, but i do wish we got another one of maybe a laser variety, we should just steal the Automaton one and make it a stratagem

      I've found setting it up where a flare was fired is fairly reliable when it comes to perfect timing. Especially if you can call the shield right after the turret.

    It's possible to kill the factory strider from the front with hmg emplacement but require it to park its face in front of your gun turret at blank range. There is a tiny spot in the slit that the hmg can penetrate.

      That might be a bit hard to pull off but I think you can destroy them by shooting underneath them with the HMG turret

    I've been a hmg turret main and its a beast when used right can wipe out bot drops and bug drops with one turret

      I tried to throw it down wherever my HMG turret was because those tanks and rocket devastators would completely ruin me when I use it

      I wish they had a health bar or something it’s really hard to say. I also think they all have different sized health pools from each other as well. That’s what it seems at leats

      It can feel that way if you aren’t hitting weak spots. It’s heavily armored but.. if you shoot either the side or the face twice with Quasar, recoiless or EAT, it’ll expose the inside to heavy armor pen / Autocannon. Just like exposing a charge it’ll have the same effect.
      Or, if you have heavy armor pen weapons, the undercarriage where bots spawn, can delete them. Just have to make it safe by taking down its front MG’s.
      It’s also why 500kg can seem inconsistent. Unless it’s right under the strider, it won’t do much as it’ll strike its outer plating first.

      6-7 autocannon shots can delete a factory strider in the under carriage.

      @@Background_Gaming. TBH, the way it should work, is the turret should work like a ballistic shield untill it runs out of health. At which point the user should get rag dolled with a force related to how badly the turret got killed.

    I just wish the shield had some level of duration/uptime, as it is now I really struggle to justify bringing it over literally ANYTHING else.
    The shield only stays for 30 seconds after it hits the ground but then it also has like 2-3 seconds of animation where it does nothing dropping the actual "shield" time to something more around 27 seconds.
    27 seconds of a shield that can be broken by enemies shooting at it with a 80 second CD is not good even if we remove the ~30 seconds the shield is active its still 50 seconds where the shield is not up and on CD. The downtime is somewhat literally double the uptime, garbage for a stationary and 'passive' defence item.
    I really hope this is part of what they will be looking at for when they go over balance because this is definitely one of those "its just not fun using it" type of stratagems.
    And yes I am mostly just shouting out into the void here to feed the youtube algorithm-god.
