Thanks for taking the time to do a preview video! :) Glad you like it, and nice landing at the end - it's actually not an easy airplane to land. Regarding the smoke, we only have one trail here and so do all testers, so not sure why you're seeing two smoke trails. Also, my coder and flight model guy fixed the weird start-up sound pulse, starts are now smooth - and we have G-vapor and Mach cone also ready for launch now. Cheers, DC :)

@DC Designs, the F14 makes the same pulse, is it possible to fix that plane as well? Listened to some f14 startups on YT and didn't hear it anywhere.
I really wish this was available to fly on Xbox series. Can’t wait to see the F16 on market place for MSFS Xbox🤟🔥🔥🔥. Incredible aircraft.

I got it for the Xbox yesterday and I’m very impressed . I do have the full HOTAS set up btw so it makes it even more realistic. Got to be the best performing military jet for Xbox so far (haven’t tried the F-22 because if I’m honest the cockpit looks crap and put me off). My favourites now are T-45, F-14B and now this. Of course the Fouga has a place in my heart seen as I was on the crew of the exact Irish aircraft in the sim (220), I’m ex-Air Corps.
try the su27 its amazing, so is the su57 just not as detailed
Thanks for the preview but I think I’m gonna give this one a miss unless it comes with some massive updates.
Forget about DCS for a minute as that’s a dedicated mil-sim.
Even the DeltaWing F-16 for XP11 is leagues ahead of this in terms of modelling inside and out, flight model, HUD, simulated systems.
Hell even the Aerosoft F-16 for FSX that came out 10 years ago is much better than this!
Time will tell if SC Designs can update this to 2021 level.
imho they just wasting time. This sim has TONS and TONS of potential but seems like almost none has understood that.
Interesting pic. in my younger days I was at the base where that bird was stationed and did some work there. Very nice.
Hey, im wondering, do you get some stuttering in the f16? Noticeble especially when rolling the plane ? I'm having this issue, and its happening only on the f16. I figured out it was the screens system, FLIR, that was causing it, as turning them off got rid of the stutters. Only happens on this plane tho, im clueless.

How do you turn down the lighting from the main hud display . Don't like how it glares so much at night can't seem to find the right button for it

Keeping firmly in mind that this will never, ever even remotely tackle the level of systems depth and even flight modeling of the DCS F-16 module, I still do seriously hope that they plan to do a MASSIVE revamp of the visuals. I think it is not unfair to say that pretty much every FS2020 player should at least expect the visuals of any third party addon to match the standard set by Asobo's own aircraft. This one certainly doesn't. I understand it is a work in progress and I do hope they add more necessary visual detail but when I take a honest look at the Flight Simulator third party scene spanning both FSX and FS2020, I do have my doubts.
What is a DCS module?
Glad there are more people who notice this. It´s another rushed piece of junk to cash in quickly before someone else makes the F16. Look at those textures at 4:00 haha. Like you said, it´s not even close to the default planes in terms if visuals and I mean what else does it have going for itself other than, possibly, the visuals ?
Can anyone tell me why the F16 models on the xbox version of MSFS has those odd additions onto the fuselage? Was totally stoked to see they added the F-16, the best looking fighter imo, but they put that odd addition onto the fuselage.
No oxygen mask?
Sometime when I start, cold, or from the runway, I have the oxygen mask, it happens randomly.
Am I doing something wrong ???
Looks great! Thanks for the open-minded review on this as well. I know the combat community will probably jump to a hundred little "issues", but for just flying around in a fast jet it'll work. Grain of salt type of thing. Only one practical thing though may be the fuel flow on AB should go way up (since it does affect range), certainly not a "low" 6000. I know the F-15 has the same, but the Asobo Hornet seems to have gotten that part correct. Lol, if only we could get some tankers too sometime - it'd be great to practice some refueling outside of DCS with actual multiplayer pilots. Otherwise, yeah may be worth a closer look on release.
For some reason I just can't get any of my HUD nor displays to turn on, no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

After getting the excellent TF-104G from SSW, this one is way too arcade quality for that price. 10 euro would be a more suitable.
I just bought it and took it for a run, once it got off the ground it sounded exactly like a deltic diesel with the mic next to the turbo, deltic's have a particular sound unlike any other, find a youtube channel with a deltic sound and check it out

That bird is one of the heros of my childhood, too. Ill get it as soon as they make the engine nozzle diameter react to the thrust level.

That's so cool, I'll definitely be purchasing! I live 15min away from McEntire National Guard Base where this livery is flown. Hope they include a Thunderbirds livery as well.

Hey Murph, love your content but.. some companies deserve an immediate buy from me and some need 6 months and a sale to tempt me. I’m not really sure why you say you shouldn’t compare this to DCS or it’s not meant to be study level? If you hop on the DCS site right now the DCS F16 is only 20 bucks more than what they are asking for this! I don’t expect DCS level avionics but hey, at least make it look as good as the free F16 in Falcon BMS. I hope for the best with SC Designs but after buying two planes from their sister company DC Designs, I can’t justify their price compared to the Hawk by JustFlight or any of the Indiafoxtecho or Sim Skunkworks planes. I wish they would up their game in the cockpit graphics to at least Asobo F18 level. Much more realistic looking cockpit. Just my opinion but the biggest draw of MSFS 2020 at this stage is the graphics so I at least expect these payware planes to meet Asobo level graphics.
Lets see if the aircraft can aero-brake after landing. Once you touchdown hold the nose up and keep your speed brakes out until the aircraft slows down enough to drop the nose gear. I see this all the time. I worked on F-16s and my city where I live, have F-16s based here. South Dakota Air Guard.
It may not be DCS level, but it def a 👍from me , looks fun to fly
But why didn't they at least make an accurate looking cockpit, even the stick and throttle look... wrong. The external model could also use more work to get out more details on the air frame. Just Flight did an amazing job with their Hawk. Pretty sure this F-16 can be/could have been done better... sorry SC Designs, but the F-16 is my favorite aircraft... I like flying at least an accurate looking jet...
Nothing accurate about flight simulator 2000.. great scenery and world modeling though! Thats second to none. But 30euro for this skin is just insane

Graphics are absolutely stunning. MSFS is completely unchallenged!
Not impressed with the textures. It can easily pass for a freeware product!
Even Falcon 4.0, a game from 1998, has a million-times better cockpit. At this rate I could make an F-35 addon with low-effort models made in Blender under 5 days and stolen textures, and make people pay for it. And the MSFS community will say it"s "next-gen".

first time effort from this developer and its very much aimed at the fun aspect. I think its ok for what it is - but if your really looking for a closer to life like F16 - DCS is a great option
