Admittedly, I get a little triggered when people who haven’t been significantly overweight share their views on Ozempic or any weight loss drug. The irony is people will say obesity is a national health crisis and a disease that requires serious medical attention, then when obese people use medicine to assist with their weight management, they’re scrutinised. WeGovy/Mounjaro has positively changed the lives of people who need it most. “Healthy weight” people using the drug to lose 5lbs are the minority. Ozempic is for diabetes and WeGovy is for weight loss.

Its not a weightloss drug also used for diabetes. Its a diabetes medication that people are abusing to desperately stay as skinny as possible.
Why is the Ozempic debate always focused on the 1% who use it to lose vanity pounds? 99% of people who take it genuinely need help. It’s medical assistance for obesity and excess weight. It’s life changing for the people who actually need it. I’m so sick of the general debate always being “oh well celebrities take it to lose 10 lbs!” Okay? But they are not the majority of users? Why is all the focus on them? It demonizes a drug that’s been immensely helpful for people who struggle with their weight. Let’s focus on that. Getting medical help to improve life expectancy and live a healthier and happier life is NOT a bad thing. People will tear obese people to shreds, but when they get medical assistance to shed the weight, they’re also criticised! You cannot win!
A cosmetic surgical procedure is never the answer if someone has self esteem issues- as they're still the same person on the inside. A weight loss Jab will be the quick & easy way...but it still will not "fix" the underlying issues that got you to that weight. It saddens me these days, the things people will do, ingest etc, instead of taking sensible routes= that might require more work and WILLPOWER.

i think £300 in this economy for something i’ve pretty much seen on plt is insane… i can understand luxury purchases when the quality is there , and i love watching and living vicariously through you … but that seems ridiculous to me. 🤷🏼♀️
Vic no one is going to think you’re taking ozempic! It’s the people who have lost tons of weight really fast, you’ve been thin this whole time.

🌸🌸🌸So much to say…… First, I really loved the boule top with those jeans and cap! Adorable! Secondly, THANK YOU for sharing your lovely family adventure to one of my favorite places, Zion, Monument Valley and everywhere else. Loved seeing it all unfold daily on IG, thank you for taking us all with you. Lastly….The GLP1 (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mourjaro, Zepbound……) craze , for lack of a better word….. I’ve been taking it for awhile now, and yes it has side effects as most medications do but the outcome/benefits supersedes those. And it’s NOT just a mater of “well, stop overeating and work out instead” that most people just DO NOT understand. I have been overweight my entire life, I could eat nothing but a bag of feathers and moderately work out and NEVER lose weight…..Seven years ago I found out that I had a brain tumor on my hypothalamus….its rare, probably had it since birth and has caused my entire hormonal systems to be completely ineffective! Finally my entire life made sense. The only time I ever lost weight was when I was pregnant and wasn’t trying…. All the puzzle pieces were making sense. So I went on a GLP1 (weekly shots) and the weight has come flying off! I am on the way to being so much healthier , and HAPPIER! But people who have never walked in my shoes, or had any other medical issue (and there are many!…) that prevents someone from losing weight simply just do not understand, they will make their judgmental opinions known, tell others ‘how to live’ , call people names without giving a pause to understand that maybe, just maybe, this meditation can truly be a blessing! Trust me , I’ve lived with hatred and judgement my entire life, I know how horrible people can be…. Bottom line, this medication WAS developed for the treatment of diabetes, but like plenty of other medications, has been useful in treating something else. People need to get off their high horse and get over it. 😄 Victoria, thank you for your lovely work and dedication to your content, I TRULY APPRECIATE YOU! XXOO 🌸🌸🌸
