This whole thing just makes me sick. I mean, it'd be one thing if it was just a few rotten people, but it seems to be almost everyone I've ever met. It's a really hollow "victory" to cut off everyone you know and be left in near-complete isolation. I'm sure it's great having top-tier spiritual body guards, but when you've been alone for as long as I have, it just feels like I'm the one being kept in a cage and punished. It's not so hard to meet people when you're in your twenties, but I'm 45 and can't even drink because my liver is damaged- everyone I meet is married and/or is busy with work or their children... all the wagons are already circled, and people really aren't very friendly to those not in their camp. I'm kinda/sorta seeing someone, but there's something a little weird going there- it could be just a difference in background and experience, but it feels very off and on, and I'm more than a little worried that it's just more of the same old shit in a different package.
Whatever god, or my, or my spirit team's plans were, they apparently were not very good- I'm surrounded by vampires who want to drain me dry and keep me cut off from everything, even working, with bribes, character assassination and frivolous lawsuits and if there are any good people here, they simply don't give a fuck. There was one person I thought I could trust and count on, and it's starting to seem like she is the worst of them all- we recognized one another on sight, but she was just a child, so I had to marry her mother to protect her. Then someone cut my brake lines, and while I was in the hospital, they corrupted her somehow, and here I am with a *second* "twin flame" that just wants to use and abuse me. I put sixteen years and millions of dollars into my wife's family, raising some other asshole's kids, and the second their mom died, I was nothing to them but a vampire sippy-cup. People keep saying "put yourself out there," but there are 3,500 people in my town- there's nowhere for me to "put myself" but a few bars and local retailers. I've tried going to nearby cities, but they're not much better, because the inflation is higher and I just can't afford to keep going out to malls and shit buying crap I don't need, hoping that I'll meet someone new.
