The punch was border line. That means it was a matter of opinion. The referee has the most important opinion of everyone, he is an experienced professional who made a judgement. I watched it back and you can see that as Dubois seems that upprrcut in, he catches Usyk low. The punch ends up the waist band but the as it was an uppercut, the trajectory meant out contacted Usyk low before it stopped moving. And IF the ref started counting, would Usyk have forced himself to. He’s not out. He took advantage of the time allotted to recover from a low blow. Then - why didnt Dubois finish him? He was tentative and not aggressive enough. THEN he gets clipped goes over, gets clipped again in the 9 th by a short jab, goes down on his knees AND ALLOWS THE REF TO COUNT HIM OUT ON HIS KNEES . So tough luck Daniel, BUT you didnt take advantage of the moment and quit again.

How can it be technically a low blow below the naval when it wasn’t below the naval. You are aware a naval is the belly button. Your belly button should be showing. Usyks was about 4 inches above his, which is normal. His body protector was high which is fine. We used to do it in the amateurs, pull the shorts way up to under ur arm pits.
We all know that any shot below the waist is a foul. But replays show Dubois' punch landed ON the belt - which means the shot was legal. When Usyk went down, he immediately grabbed his groin area and complained to the referee who allowed him to recover. He even begged him to take the full 5 minutes.

I attended the Dubois vs. Lerena fight, and I strongly believe that Frank Warren rigged the match, showing a complete disregard for both the fans and the rules of boxing. Considering Warren's accusation that Usyk cheated, it is difficult to think of anyone more qualified than him to make such a claim.

Having watched it back, it was a low blow by law as it was actually below Usyk’s belly button. Any shot below the belly button is a low blow and because a lot of fighters like Dubois wear their shorts on top of their belly button or even sometimes above it (in which case the ref normally pulls it down). It was a mistake by Dubois as he felt he was targeting the belt line when in fact he should have been targeting the belly button or above in Usyk’s case. Whereas if Usyk had hit Dubois on the belt line it would be fine as it was covering Dubois belly button.

I believe it was a low blow, after seeing it for couple of timed, it doesnt have to be precisely a nutsck punch, but below the belt and this punch was that. Btw, a liver punch is on the side, and for sure Usyk wouldn't take that much time to recover for nothing, meaning it was a low blow. So nothing to cope in this situation. It simply the punch was below his belly button, do the test on yourself, hold ur guard and the bottom of the elbow is inline with your belly button in most people so the glove was below the legal height

Some boxers wear the trunks high almost covering the belly button. So at the start the ref assesses both the fighters and say it’s okay to hit on the belt line. Usyk was clearly wearing the trunks well below the belly button and the shot was on the lower belt line to say the least…on or just above his “jewels”. That’s fucking low. It’s not by default that hitting on the belt line is a legal shot !

It was a low blow, it's clear as day on the slow motion that the punch initially connected below the belt line. Frank Warren and some of the commentators should be held accountable for misleading the public with their false statements

That punch was a low blow -- clearly BELOW the top of the hip bone and the navel, which are the markers. Usyk's trunks were NOT high. Even if they were, it doesn't matter. Anatomically, the punch was a LOW BLOW -- a FOUL in Boxing -- so he was given 5 minutes to recover at per the rules. Usyk proceeded to lash the underdog for the next 4 rounds -- until Dubois was properly KO'd with a left hook.

I looked up the rules. A low blow is defined with a blow below the waist line. And your natural waistline hits at the area between the top of your hip bone and the bottom of your rib cage.

In the rules it says a low blow is when impact is under the Naval (belly button) that shot was 100% low, Usyk also won nearly every other round so didn’t need to cheat.
There are also far worse decisions in boxing that don’t get overturned, Dubois didn’t get “conned” or Robbed” at all.
Frank and the team will focus on “he was conned” because then they don’t have to answer any questions about DDD taking a knee off a jab and choosing not to get up AGAIN.
That's not true.... usyks team lying. You can land blows between the waist and belly button that are legal. The waistband of the shorts should be around the waist, NOT THE ABDOMEN! It's not supposed to be a stomach guard

The ref didn’t start counting. If he’d ruled it a legit punch Usyk would have beaten the count and struggled to his feet, no reason to believe he’d have been counted out. He’d then have muddled through the round. So Warren talking shit saying it would have been all over. Usyk just chose to take the extra time allowed to him for a breather
