    Can we diagnose clear cell sarcoma without seeing tumor cells cytoplasmic clearing and where there is no availability of IHC?

    Dear Elizabeth. The mixed varieties can be very difficult to diff.
    Most unfortunate this leaves families in limbo post needle biopsy
    & immune reports to be given to the patient.Those were 8 agonizing
    week waiting & knowing already what it was in my daughter. I knew grossly palpating
    (30 years Surgery/path, what it was. Imagine what I had to go thru being able
    to see the fucker at 120x. I thank only God she is alive still. Not good medicine.
    I always hated watching from afar & resent pathology even more now I am retired from it.
    Cheers to those impressed. It does catch up with us all in the end.
