There's no process, Hermes offers you the opportunity to become a client of theirs, so confidentiality is a must, they only allow their clients to buy a certain amount of bags per year.

Also, it takes a lot of time to make even one Birkin (after all it's all handmade) , that's why they are so exclusive and expensive... tbh if you can afford it and you have a passion for bags there's nothing wrong with buying Birkins, they are pieces of art!
