Botan may seem tough most of the time but it's the moment like this when you can see how precious she is when she lets her emotions out
Even though she's hyper-specced and generally incredibly chill and cool, as Subaru has pointed out, Botan still has a childish side to her, and while usually that's a huge point of gap-moe, in moments like this it definitely just reveals how precious she really is.
Ever since her debut there is her soft side. Sometimes it is during unfortunate events (Aloe, Coco), sometimes you see how she really loves her gen mates, (which is why lamy loves her.
She also does a lot of sweet things during her anniversaries for her gen mates, like making ramen for them from scratch.
I mean everybody has emotions, sometimes you forget not to show them
from what I know, Botan once said that she is verrryyyyy weak on emotional stuff
Botan really does deserve this win as she’s been trying her hardest and constantly training to get where she is now. Let’s goooo BOTAN!!!!

After the last CR Cup where both Botan and Korone cried tears of sadness over the former's loss, it's amazing that we now have an uplifting parallel situation a few months later. Big congrats to Botan for a hard-earned victory!

She's been to 2 other tourneys and lost all of her matches, although she won a few sets, and she also lost her other 2 matches this tourney. So this win was big for her, especially after how crushed she felt following her previous tourney.
Gotta respect the pure emotions these games and tornaments bring out of people, both happy and sad.
I'm happy for Botan but like Korone says wish we could root for both of them i really came to like Karubi shes super awesome as well and I believe was Korones teammate last time when she competed

It’s moments like these where Shishiron’s at her most vulnerable that make me appreciate her more. She may not have won all her matches but taking one win at a time makes it all worthwhile.

I thought it was a schedule issue.
She said she had received invitations to participate but turned them down because she did not have enough time to practice.
She herself mentioned during the streaming that the level of the participants had increased and that it was difficult for her to keep up with them because she had not played Street Fighter 6 recently and was rusty.
She did so well, I'm so proud of her! Hearing her cry after she lost last time broke my heart, but hearing those tears of joy now... very proud of her!

Yeah that might have been the most impressive part. That and overall discipline. Played very patiently, chose jump ins well, walked back a lot but knew when to hold her ground, didn't panic in the corner. Clear results of practice and poise.

Tbf playing at a pro level is something most people don't get to experience - that feeling of trying your best and falling short isn't something a lot of people experience. Faker or Keria crying at LoL finals doesn't make them weak. Most people don't have the context regarding the effort needed to compete at that level.
you know botan really worked hard on something the moment she starts bawling her eyes out, despite rarely showing her full emotions on stream.

Damn, I am super proud of Botan! I knew she could do it.
As a Marisa main, it makes me a bit sad because I wanted to see Botan winning with her, but Lily is definitely more her style because she can "snipe". Her gameplan was done really well, she didn't waste any movement and her meter awareness was fantastic.
Botan puts so much pressure on herself to do well, probably because she knows how skilled she really is. Add the pressure of a team tournament and its no wonder she gets overwhelmed with emotions during these events.
It is surreal seeing this after her previous CR Cup fights. Like she went from two extremely tense, narrow defeats to this commanding victory.
Though also Botan's Lily really feels like they gave her a cannon when compared to her very defensive and calculating Marisa.
I'm so happy for her, specially after her frustration on the previous CR loss.

Yet, in a one-on-one scenario, after putting in the effort, the payoff in front of peers captures the essence of what fighting games represent. All credit to her!

I couldn't bear to see Botan cry when I found out that she lost. The last time I saw that was when Coco was graduating.
Here, she improved tremendously and got a win for her team. This doesn't feel hard to bear at all. More of a "yatta" moment for the lion.
i really hope i can see korone participate in the tournament again, i feel like she has the most potential in holo, shes playing very good in practice but just cant bring her 100% in tourney because her nervousness
She's learned how to pressure after plus frames as well as reacting to DI.
Imagine if she also learns how to consistently anti-air with Spike (the DP move). I'd genuinely be scared to face her on the ranked ladder.
