Hi again … I also don’t understand there are 5 settings … if you’re setting it to come on for setting 1, off for setting 2, on for setting 3, off setting 4 … then what is setting 5 for. The manual said it’s just setting the temp at the time, then it turns off when it’s reached that temp? Now I’m totally confused !! Help.
Hi… never had gas heating & tech thick! The unit keeps coming on at random times, tried re setting but the days/times were incorrect the next morning again. Changed batteries, took longer than 20 seconds. Thought it was fixed. Set at 5 set point as I don’t want the heating on yet at all. Set 1 setting at 6am to 13 degrees. I thought that I couldn’t set it for a set time(like yr video) so set all 5 settings to 6 am 13 degrees. Does that mean I’ve had it on all day to be 13, is that why it keeps coming on. I’d rather just have an hour in morning and evening. Sorry but this is Greek to me. Also the water is scalding all the time, I don’t need hot water all the time as use the gym to keep heating water costs down. How do I turn off the water been also scalding or am I stuck with that? Hi my mum moved in a house with this unit, we can’t stop it heating rooms when we want it off, please can you help with back of unit settings it says programme clip on 7 span on 0.5 and pins 12345 numbers 3 and 4 clips are missing do these need to be changed, not sure how it set on the receiver in the loft any help please, it’s summer we want it off completely and just flick it on if it got cold, she away at her caravan a lot her heating bill going to be a fortune. Much appreciate any advice
@@allysonboyle6968 turn to a low temp below current room temp leave for 20 seconds turn up to above room temp leave 20 seconds . repeat .repeat repeat. until it starts working
You can't un pair .there's jumpers on one unit .dip switches on the the other .simple read the instructions . 1.1.1 switches position as in 2nd and 4th switch down .will match 1:1:1 as in 2nd and 4th jumper pulled Reset will just wipe the time date memory
@@timeintheuk ok thanks will try. Im getting constant red light on receiver not blinking. Increased temp on remote flame icon shows up nothing changes on receiver no green light and burner doesnt come on..m

There's are 5 settings time and temp . Not on and off .it's the temp you want at that time
The landlord has told me the unit is faulty and I must replace it with the same model. Do I need the engineer to set that up with the pins etc?

This unit does not do the water .get your landlord round or the installer to explane or adjust

Hi the 5_2 and 7 pins are weekday selection so u can program sat sun and week or individual days
The 0.5,is temp sensitivity
1throu 5 jumpers are set to give frequency and must match dip switch settings on the receiver
How can I manually turn it on and off whenever I needed without the settings. Can anyone explain that please?

My thermostat is flashing for heat but not sending power to boiler or heating to radiator

also ensure its not set to frost .the snowflake symbol or the fact it keeps saying 5 degrees tells you its in frost mode .
