Kate does a great job getting the coach fixed up with the furniture from the hotel, as well as the great job they all do to convince those guys (railroad directors) from the railroad that the Cannonball is an 'A-1 first rate' train. One would think by now Bedloe would learn that he's no match for Kate. Good always overcomes evil. Beautifully written and great story lines.

I agree totally with the comment of Anthony Tenia.I was born 1960, and started watching TV shows at age 4, so I watched a lot of the classic 1960's-1970's prime time comedies, dramas, and variety shows when new, during my childhood and teen years. My parents and brothers would watch a lot of shows together with me, in evenings. We never missed Dean Martin's variety hour or the Carol Burnett show.On Saturday night was a string of sitcoms then Burnett's show, and we'd watch each show. All were on CBS.Back then you only had 3 channels...ABC, CBS, & NBC; all from a roof antenna. We always had those wood console TV sets with a 25" screen. The viewers had to turn the channel knob to change the channel.Remember the knobs called 'vertical hold' and 'horizontal'? LOL.

I was born in 1961, and I can relate 100% to everything you said. We were a CBS family, and I remember those wonderful CBS shows. Monday night was “Gunsmoke”, Friday night was “The Wild, Wild West”, and of course, “Green Acres”. I also remember when cable TV replaced those three channels (four, if you count PBS). And yes, I remember the vertical hold and horizontal knobs, lol. Also, UHF and VHF 😎. Thanks for helping bring back such wonderful memories 🥰👍.

At the end Bedloe asks "Where did I go wrong?" He didn't need to ask as the answer is as plain as the nose on one's face. He once again messed with Kate Bradley & he will never win. Kate is like a mother bear protecting her cubs when it comes to anyone, even Bedloe, coming against all she loves like her family, friends, the Shady Rest & the Cannonball. My question is "Will Bedloe ever learn one doesn't mess with Kate?"

I'm pretty sure that at least some of us have known an exasperating family member or acquaintance resembling the character Uncle Joe portrays and whose personality makes one wonder at just what the Good Lord was thinking of in foisting such lazy, stubborn, and self satisfied know it alls on the world. GREAT ACTING though, I MUST say. The interplay between him and Kate provides a cue from which to learn how UNCONDITIONAL LOVE 💕 can rise above any shortcomings or conflicting viewpoints in human beings. The creators of today's entertainment agenda would do WELL to use that cue to take note of and FULLY UNDERSTAND just how POWERFUL and CONSTRUCTIVELY EDUCATIONAL the MEDIA can be when portraying human nature at it's WHOLESOME BEST in spite of it's foibles in an AMUSING and HUMOROUS vein which I believe is known as COMPASSION☦️ 🥰🙏🏼🤗🤱🏻
