It's interesting to see how the logo has evolved throughout the years
I grew up in a Mexican Catholic family. When I watched those intros as a kid, I thought torch lady was some kind of Virgin Mary and the main stockholders in Columbia Pictures were hard devotees

If columbia pictures ever gets the opportunity, they should do a variation where it's an actual person like in a few of these entries and have the lady say "Are we done now?....thank you! I've been carrying that stupid torch for over 40 years...Anybody got an ice pack?" well either that one or something like this. "Hey guys are we ever going to return this to lady liberty?" I feel like both would fit very well right before the opening sequence to a comedy movie.

Man! I never knew the many evolutions of Lady Columbia had. The banana startled me because I did not expect that to happen (never got a chance to watch the movie). The Blade Runner 2049 logos were quite cool. Into the Spider-verse was really a throwback into the logo journey throughout the years. Pretty interesting.
Love the Zombieland: Double Tap logo. It was hilarious watching her beat up a couple of zombies then going back to her usual business like nothing had happened.
And of course...I can't forget the Grudge 2 opening. Forgot they had one and it scared me to death watching Lady Columbia transformed into Kayako. I was half convinced Kayako was going to pop out of my laptop screen.
Still pretty entertaining to watch this video.

The opening logo in ZombieLand: Double Tap was awesome 👏, first the torch lady does her usual intro and then 2 zombies interrupt her opening logo and then she comes to alive and whacks the zombies with her torch and satisfyingly toss catches her torch and finishes her opening logo. Never mess with the torch lady.

For those who dont know,Columbia was a Flexible American women.She used to have the america clothing thing on her but it was ilegal since sony's movies were included in diffrent countries.They had to remove Columbia from the intro but they got her back.Columbia's face is not hers btw.
