Gary Sweet is an absolute legend! Everyone played their part over the past 10 years or so. Thanks to all that effort, we're one game away from The Premier League. We don't even have our new ground, Power Court yet!
Props to Ally for raising the Wrexham/Luton comparison & how Lutons story is kind of a truer untold fairytale.
No big bucks investment, Hollywood romance & from non league (Thanks to the FA) to verge of Premier league in 10 years.
Throw in Pelly story of the possibility of being the first player to have played in all the leagues, losing our manager, taking on our rivals manager & its just all there, the whole crazy magical ride.
Kudos to everyone at the club, youve done us all proud. Now roll on Wembley & lets do this!!
Don't forget the John Gurney saga to add that extra edge to the story ...
It was so nice to see big Mick and Gary share a hug at the end of the match last night. So proud of the team and the board for saving Luton. COYH!
I am 5 a Hatters man but have not been able to see my beloved side for a while but always look for their results first abd foremost each week. I went to many games from the mid 1960s to 2000 and have seen many ups and downs over the years. I have wept buckets during the bad years when we nosedived into the conference but am so overjoyed that we are nearly back in the good times where we belong. Now lets let's get the new ground sorted.
The PL had better not refuse Luton entry to the PL becuase of their stadium !! They have earned this shot at the Money League !! And if that means only 900 tickets for Arsenal fans, so be it ! The thought of Luton being 2 divisions above Direby and Wednesday and possibly 1 Division above Leeds & Leicester is hilarious and heart-warming !!
Agreed, it should be judged on what happens on the pitch, otherwise we can all stop dreaming now, unless of course there are serious safety issues

I was watching Luton from the late 70s and i think the current side is as good if not better than the early to mid 80s team.
What i couldn't fathom was how much the ground has changed from back then. I used to stand in the centre of Oak Rd and remember the big open end of Kenilworth Road and adjoining Maple Road stand but last night i couldn't work out which end was which..
