well that was a total BS, about not spraying yourself straight after your shower, because she ain't a man and have no clue that after 2 hours you will be smelly but not the nice way cuz man (if he has no problems with testosterone level) produces way more sweat than a women, and actually cologne or edt is high with alco to avoid degrading this sweat and stopping bacteria

If she wants you to notice her fragrance it will often take that many sprays otherwise you will only notice how her eyes can project across any room and her heart projects all the way to fans in the U.S.
I also think some of it is cultural. She references middle eastern fragrances a lot. Americans, we tend to like our personal space and don't really appreciate it being invaded by a random ambroxan bomb from 12 feet away. When we invite someone into our personal space, and pick up the scent, we appreciate it more.
Unfortunately, every common nightclub here in north America disagrees with you ;)

Something I always keep in mind when applying my cologne:
You WILL hear when an individual likes your scent.
but you will NEVER hear, the complaints behind your back.

Let the cologne do its job. Respray throughout the day. At lunch or before you leave the office.
Tom Ford will want you to over-spray so you can buy more of his cologne. It's like listening to the advice of a realtor who is trying to sell you a house.
It depends on the fragrance. Ex. Tom Ford Noir Extreme requires more sprays than Tom Ford Black Orchid or Oud Wood, they are very different in projection and performance.

It's simple really - If you overspray, you are just making it loud and clear you want to be noticed. People then feel comfortable to "compliment" you when they are really just striking up conversation or being nice.

I like that YOU don’t act like a hater and criticize her. It’s fragrance. It’s fun. I also love her because I have always been an oversprayer because my skin drinks stuff in, also I love compliments and I want to be able to smell myself for a long time. I want a cloud around me. And lastly, many modern fragrances past the year 2000, imho, are weak.
So let’s teach the companies that we are dumb and will continue to buy more and more weak fragrances instead of protest and demand quality products

I love them both. Antonio and her. I have always undersprayed and rarely get compliments . I like compliments. I understand there’s a line though. It’s trial and error really. There are some I’ve seen her mention to only spray 2-5 times because they’re overpowering . I’ve only recently started learning about these fine points so I thank you Antonio as well as Michella. You’re both informative and entertaining. Also Antonio I have been subscribed for a while due to your excellent information on men’s suits and fashion. She does have the meme game advantage though lol.
I’ve been suspecting this! I’ve been a “discover sprayer” for years. A couple weeks back, while getting ready in a hurry, I ended up double dosing myself without thinking (Aqua di gio profundo). Ended up with 10 sprays vs 5. I was worried I’d be overpowering, but I actually got noticed! ...in a good way! Ever since I’ve been doubling it up and doing 10 to 12 sprays. I work in an office, and so far no one has complained. (My colleagues and I usually don’t pull punches, where chop busting coworkers is concerned). I typically don’t expect compliments where I work, so when I do get one from a coworker, it’s genuine!
Sometimes I overspray because of the masks and pandemic. If you can’t smell me you got COVID 😂

My dad used to be an oversprayer. . He ran through 6 bottles of Perry Ellis 360 per year. Each bottle was 200ml.

She says she oversprays because she gets compliments that way. Well duh, but it's not about the fragrance. It's called peacocking. You wear something (clothes, smell etc.) that stands out which makes it easier for people to strike a conversation with you. Especially helps when you're already good looking like her. So no, overspraying doesn't get you compliments. Taking care of yourself does.
Yep, this. I get compliments on my watches from people who like watches, complements on my shirts from people who appreciate classic style, and endlessly questioned about my shoes. None of it is overt or in your face though, which is the opposite of stinking out an entire building with your "fragrance."

If you think I'm going to pull the trigger 20 times of Montale's Black Aoud your out of your frigging mind to a first date. Fragrance is only a small component to your overall attractive rating. Being well groomed, well dressed, and being somewhat physically attractive ronds out the whole package.

I actually upped my compliments when I adopted minimal spraying. I used to "overspray" and realised I was putting people off with my presence, then I think it was alpha m's video where he said "3 sprays, one on each side of the neck and one wrist and touch that wrist to the other one". instant compliments
It all comes down to minimal spraying :) You really don't want to overpower and turn people off.
If I sprayed 20 sprays to my class ...my teacher would kick me out...but I agree with her views on people of middle east...Dubai is known for perfumes

I used to spray 5-7 sprays and i was wondering why perfumes dont really last on me until i saw Curly fragrance and i increased the sprays... Its hard on the pocket coz you gotta buy the fragrance more but its totally worth it!

When 2 of my favourite people to watch on CZcams collides! Loved the reaction and I loved that video from Michele. I personally am not a "sissy sprayer" unless it wouldn't be appropriate to project too much but I do not spray 36 times either...I am more of a 10-ish sprayer depending on the applied fragrance. I need to mention that I work in car sales (a lot) so it is mostly soapy and/or classy fragrances (Prada l'Homme is a favourite) AKA not projecting that much... but still I get tons of compliments and I am recognized at "the sales guy that always smells great" lol

Love Michella, she's awesome. Just a note bout how Curly oversprays; she works as a personal trainer surrounded by hot sweaty people ALL DAY at work so yeah, she NEEEDS to overspray just to not be overwhelmed by the "aromas" of her work environment.

18:45 , this is true . I started doing this and my fragrances last much longer . 2 sprays behind each ear and 2 on both sides of the neck. Still haven't received negative comments at work. They actually tell me they usually dont smell me, so I think curly is on to something

I like her style is very funny and direct... and depending on the weather, climate and where you live in the world, you have to apply more than 6 times... I agree that sometimes over apply is ok 👍🏻 and Antonio relaxed reaction rocks ✌🏻
I love your channel Antonio and this video is great! I have recently been curious about trying more classic and expensive fragrances so my CZcams research has been in full effect lately. I usually, spray 1-2 sprays of cologne (Drakkar Noir or Sean John Unforgivable) before going to work, but it seems like I should spray more! Woman here! I love watching your videos. I have a brother and I buy him fragrances, I also wear mens fragrances as I prefer masculine scents rather than floral overpowering feminine womens fragrances. I like the style videos too. I find myself looking at men, the way they project themselves, dress, smell etc. I’m far more observant now and it reflects on how I project myself. I hold myself differently and I have better style even though I’m predominantly watching male style videos. Interesting to watch! ❤️👍

I recently bought a bottle of Spice Bomb Extreme after getting off a train from London, a warm, sweaty day and my morning fragrance sprayed at 6am had gone. I put eight sprays on. Jeez, even four hours later it was a thick scent cloud. I did get compliments, but from people feet away! That stuff is no joke.

I've been watching her for about a year and let me tell you she's an amazingly attractive woman very outspoken but most of all she knows her stuff when it comes to fragrances top notch plus she has an amazing personality that I'll make you laugh all of her videos are Awesome
I don't spray as crazy as Michella, but I spray much more with some fragrance that are weak performers. The One? 15-20 sprays. Because after 1 hours you wil still have a decent projection of 1-3 feet. because of her I got so many more and positive reactions from that.
At my job, they call me the cologne guy. I remember this one time i sprayed le male le parfum like 10-15 (can’t remember) and i was supposed to train someone and she said that it smells like ode cologne and she left. From that day, i learned my lesson: SPRAY LE MALE LE PARFUM 5 TIMES ONLY. But if you’re out and about, just go crazy.

Years ago I was using Armani code and it never lasted. The scent was gone very fast after I sprayed the typical amount. I HAD to spray much more and on my clothes and I began to get a ton of compliments

Absolutely. For example, we buy Pikovaya Dama from Xerjoff and spray it on 20 times a day. There are scents where one spray lasts all day. If you have to buy the Scents yourself, of course you pay Attention to that. Those who receive their Fragrances as Gifts from Companies in order to advertise them can also use them lavishly.

I’m glad that you brought out Michella here in your video and there will be definitely more followers for sure. What’s not to love about her? She’s so hilarious and lovable and she’s good with what she does. I’m also an #oversprayer and even with strong fragrances like Chanel Antaeus or A*Men...etc I still spray at least 10. And I still refresh later in the day just some more sprays. Now that we cover our faces and mostly staying home, that helps me to overspray more . 😂😅💦

Facts!
What is there to know about something as subjective as perfume? I dislike many of her recommended mens' fragrances.
She's making money from those fragrance companies, she's beautiful and will get lots of gentleman watching her videos, so spraying 20 times makes you use up your cologne, having to spend more money on the 300-dollar colognes she's indorsing.
She's claims that panty dropping cologne that she says you will get laid even getting her is a lie, because the same cologne was tested against other cheaper colognes the women didn't even react to it and liked the cheaper cologne better lots of women picked the cheaper cologne over her so-called best panties dropper cologne.

I used to spray 3 to 5 times and never complimented. I came to the conclusion that where I live does have a high pollen count and lots of ppl have sinus issues. To have my scent complimented I had to start spraying about 20 times.

I also add my Molecule 01 - which has/is ISO E Super- to badly performing fragrances; they'll last much longer. She has some good points with using Ambroxan, ISO E Super and oils as well as adding on her hair. Yes, that'll help and I agree also that being outside, especially in windy, rainy Dutch weather (I didn't know her yet, but her accent gave her away) makes being an oversprayer a tad necessary.
But... I've seen her video and my jaw dropped and stayed on the floor the whole time. If I spray more with truly weak (softer, fresher usually) scents I go maybe up to 10 or 12 on useful pulse points: with 3 on each arm (wrist, inner elbow and clavicle), 2 on my breast bone (heart) and 1 under each ear. Maybe then one in the neck in my hair and even 1 behind each knee when wearing a dress or shorts, but that's really overspray for me and people can smell me through the mail slot, from another floor and when I come back from an appointment that lasted several hours, I can still smell the sillage cloud in my house etc etc.
The amount she sprayed is absolutely bizarre. Can you imagine being on the train with her?? I think she could have a combination of three things: dry skin, acidic skin (a.k.a perfume eating skin) and a truly bad nose or fast setting nose blindness. Meaning she does need more than others in general, but she also *thinks* she needs more.
The five times she mentioned earlier will indeed never be enough for dry, acid skin. Then they'll need to hang around your neck to smell you. But 10-12 times IS enough (and true beast mode perfume perhaps 6). You'll get compliments while walking past, while being 2 meters away.
I speak from experience having dry, dehydrated perfume eating skin. I spray 4-6 with beasts and 10-14 with less performing ones (like EDT'S - which I rarely buy anymore), using my hair and Iso E Super when it fits. So trust me: those 20, or even 40+ sprays are totally unnecessary. Unfortunately people usually say thàt behind your back, so she'll never know... Or, maybe she won't care. That sounds about right too 😆.
As you can see, I don't agree with her based on my own experience as someone who definitely needs more sprays, but she does have perfume knowledge, unlike many Fragrance CZcamsrs on here, and knows who she is and what she wants. I like that in a person.
A great compliment to Antonio too: even if you don't agree with someone, or not with everything, it's never necessary to trash them. I'm sick and tired of all the keyboard warriors out there.
