  • I had a bit of down time and decided to rebirth the track cars headlights, ended up not doing the best job. Definitely better but no where near perfect.
Then we dive straight back into some work on the Turbo street car as we had a minor malfunction with the engine :p
Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoy the video!

When I did my headlights a few weeks ago, the Headlight pages I was on said to go no more than 800-1000grit if you're going to clear coat, as the clear coat won't adhere as well to such a smooth service. And that if you were going to go 2000grit + you're better off just buffing and polishing.
Still look 10 times better than they did before. Just a shame it's a big job to pull them apart with the old hair dryer/heatgun haha.

Had the exact same thing on my 33 headlights bro, ended up using paint protection film meant to last around 5 years even better than clear coat, came up an absolute treat! Sweet vids

That really sucks dude.. but I'm so glad as everyone else to see all the processes filmed and with head studs and a mls gasket being installed she will come back better than ever to be able to run more than 1.3 bar and be all good and look forward to the gktech goodies and diff being done, maybe even some goodies from nitto and prp 😉 😄 regardless love it all man

    Hi man, professional detailer here,
All the steps were great with your head lights except there is a special plastic polish you use on the head lights to bring them back to brand new, then the clear coat is over the top of that :)

Same thing happened to me when I painted my plastic 'Bumper Reflectors', when it dried it had weird cracking. Would cleaning it properly with acetone or something before spraying prevent it?

I have a s2 r33 sedan skyline but I'm trying to see if anyone knows if the gtr headlight lens itself will fit, anyone know the answer to this?

Is that an off the shelf intercooler piping kit or custom? Looks like no hole in the side of the battery tray?

Nah man custom. I done all the fab work myself. Filmed it all in a previous video! Part 3 of the turbo conversion
