At New York City's WNYX, newly hired manager Dave Nelson has his work cut out for him. Excited about such a high-profile assignment, Dave first sets out to fire his predecessor, which station owner Jimmy James has failed to do. But once that's done, there are more challenges ahead, thanks to a staff that includes headstrong on-air personalities Bill McNeal and Catherine Duke, high-strung writer Matthew Brock, offbeat secretary Beth, imaginative and tech-savvy electrician Joe Garrelli, and Lisa Miller, a veteran producer who thinks she should be running the show. I remember this being on late at night, every night they had back to back to back - News Radio, Friends & Seinfeld (2 episodes in order). Watched that every night before going to bed back in school days. Great show, this is how most of us here got to know Joe Rogan, instead the gen z thinks he's just a podcast guy and ufc announcer.

Always loved radio station-related TV shows, like this one and WKRP Cincinatti. Years ago, I ran a pirate FM station. Not giving away when nor where, but I made the newspapers. Shows like these were my inspiration. Then COVID hit and I had to shut down. Still, great times.
