Spondyloarthritis (SpA) is an umbrella term which incorporates a range of different symptoms, which may not always present at the same time. Inflammatory Bowel Disease can often impact those with SpA, and if poorly managed, can have a significant impact on quality of life.
Rheumatologist Dr Herman Lau discusses Spondyloarthritis and its common causes and diagnosis, as well as treatment and medication for Spondyloarthritis and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Dietitian Monica Kubizniac discusses the difference between Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome, as well as foods to avoid when you have bowel inflammation.
