Who knows better how to steal one's heart and very soul than a Gypsy musician? I only regret that my father wasn't here to hear this beautiful piece. Bravo! Well done.
Re: Endre's comment, all Gypsy music you hear is , as you say the music of the'host' country, as played by Gypsies ,this is an accepted fact.Re:Hemut's comment, I myself am a British born Gypsy, and a violinist also, and this piece works for me!...Brilliant, and I wish I could play this well!....
+Olle ten Cate You are right. I didn't know that he is blind. but in this case the orchestra must keep a better contact with the violin. Tcha Limberger plays very well.
Yes. and sees and hear much better important things than a lot of people who is not blind. He plays on a lot of instruments and talk a lot of langueges. This guy is a genius. many time i close my eyes when i listen his music. Csodálatos, köszönöm!
It's horrible. Tcha Limberger is an able violinist but never a real primás. There is obviously no contact between the orchestra and the solist. I know a lot of Gipsy orchestras in Budapest and their 'primások' and I am non interested to hear Tcha Limberger.
Helmut Pasquazzo I never respond to anybody on here but just had to write you! The man is playing from his heart with every stroke of his bow. When he plays his violin, its not about being a real primas, its about telling our story to our people and remembering!. Every note that he plays is basically a story of our people (its our history not in a book but from music). Also, since we had no history to write or that anybody cared to know about, we played it and for those of us that know this, we remember and pass it on by music!
a great musician! I had the pleasure to be present at a concert in Antwerpen about 12 years ago in De Roma. It was an expieriance never to forget!!!!
WOW! Great! I remember when I was a kid my father would would play this all the time! I cannot stop crying right now!

This is soul music, achingly beautiful. A wonderful way to represent the rich and proud Rom culture.

Please realize Tcha is blind. His communication is all through sound; not through visual perception
