The narrator Jean Shepard is the Author of the story as well. If you like his style, I highly recommend listening to another short story from Jean called "Ball Lightning." 🐧💙🍎🍏

Good reaction and great movie. You remind me of my nephew but he's a lot younger. Looking forward to more videos.

Love this movie! I think I read that there was some kind of tube that made the tongue look like it was stuck to the pole. So no tongues were harmed in the making of this film, haha. Also the house the family lived in is in Cleveland and still gets tons of visitors as a museum! I have a buddy who does tours there now. Great reaction Noah!

The Wizard of Oz places the time of the movie. The Wizard of Oz premiered in 1939 (Ralph: "This is the same stuff we had last year."), so this makes it the Christmas of 1940. In a few months, America would join the Allies for WWII. It was still a time of innocence in America.

That’s interesting! It felt a little out of place but now it makes sense!
