I'm Still Alive! Here I'm Doing Stretch-and-Sew to Apply Elastic Using the Singer 401A.

Hello, everyone! It's been too long. My life has gone through a lot of changes and upheaval since the pandemic, but I'm still on Planet Earth and posted a little iPhone video here. Everyone else has probably gone through changes and upheaval since the pandemic happened! I still love to use sewing machines and sergers, and I even find mundane mending tasks relaxing.
My dog, Rascal, recently chewed the drawstring and casing on my ironing-board cover; after removing the damaged casing and drawstring, I applied elastic. I did stretch-and-sew, triple zigzag stitch, on my vintage Singer 401A. My Rascal has a bit of separation anxiety.
I got myself a little webcam and have some video footage to edit regarding serging terry cloth, which is . . . different, and regarding using the Singer Monogrammer for Slant-Needle Sewing Machines (like the 401A). Editing, narrating, and posting will happen soon--as soon as I set aside the time.
