Not true at all. Izzy would be an idiot to continuously try to break Romero's high guard while opening himself to a huge counter. Izzy literally did this in the first round to make the fight exciting, but got caught, and started going for leg kicks. Romero went into the octagon with an absurd gameplan against a champion, because he's there to take the belt away, not stand in place hoping for a counter. that's literally what amateurs do when they dont have head movement or an ability to slip; granted, Romero has a fused neck, so it makes sense why he fought like that (I guess, because his fight vs Costa was way different)

Izzy can't talk big or brag about wanting the fight when he didn't risk going on to finish Yoel.
He waited much of the time, ran around the edge of the octagon, left Yoel in the center of octagon, and depended on scoring points from a few kicks.
That's great for winning, but it's not great for bragging that you were going to finish.
The point of the video is the contrast between his big talk versus his performance. His words don't match his actions.
Winning is great, but the unforgettable legends are the ones who go beyond winning and seek to finish their up opponents. And that takes a whole different level of risk which comes from the offensive approach. Just like Mike Tyson in his prime. Tyson during his first championship years took on, and FINISHED, all who got into the ring, despite getting in the middle of tons of strikes.
