Hello! I am an elderly, partially disabled woman from Knoxville, TN, usa. I live for this and constantly have to charge my phone to keep watching! I grew up camping with parents and two younger brothers. Although not as wilderness, a lot the same! This has brought back so many fond memories and although not quite the same, I love this guy and especially his cooking! I brought out an iron skillet that belonged to my grandmother, born 1894, and keep it well seasoned! Breakfast is the highlight of the day!!!

My house trailer growing up in Mississippi had a cast iron wood burning stove with my grandparents. Oh those memories of heating it to hot to sleep or sleeping in freezing temps inside was an amazing grow up for me. :)

I remember once setting up in the cold, rain and wind. Gathering wood etc. i was soaked and shivering and cooked pork chops with apples and onions and peppers. IT WAS THE BEST MEAL I EVER ENJOYED. Slept well that night with the rain bashing on my tent. Totally contented. Snug as a bug in a rug👍😊👍

Andy, although I have been lucky enough to continue working thru this rough year I want to express my gratitude to you and many others that have been keeping us sane. I may not have the worries that many millions of people do at this time but I do feel the stress. And you are such a welcome reprieve from the dismal day most of us endure. Thank you so much.

Going camping without eating good food is a shame. If you really enjoy camping the meal brings the whole experience together. You do a great job with with the entire concept of camping. Another good job my man.

Internet was off for three weeks, a blessing in a way as I missed a few episodes, now I have a few to watch, just watched the fried chicken, awesome, couple of others to catch up on and this, sanity is back at last!, cheers Andy

an old fashioned camp bed, haven't seen one of them for years. Takes me back to childhood. Could do serious damage when one of the legs popped out. Getting everything together in place, all in the right holes was always 1/2 an hour of Dad swearing

It's good to see guys cook about the same whether it's in Kent or in Oregon. A cast iron pan, some carrots, potatoes and protein. Add in a Budweiser and eating outside at the campsite is like the best meal anywhere. Really enjoy your videos and appreciate the effort that goes into the production.

I have that same waffle iron too - I’ve had it for about 10 years, bought preloved, but my waffles ALWAYS stick - I’ve reseasoned the bugger twice, maybe I should just give up and buy a new one haha.
certainly gives a nice atmosphere :) hmm, I did season mine 2 or 3 times and I do give it a ' healthy' amount of oil, seems good now
