It's funny how she's being made out as if SHE'S the villain. None of what she did or had to do is truly a crime as it was all either self defence, survival in harsh times, in defence of others, or they deserved what happened. She isn't the villain here.
Yes , I totally agree with you . 😢 They just don't understand what she's been through, she 'almost' died multiple times while they were doing nothing but having a happy time ( for at least before Julius died (16/17 yrs)😢😢) she just wanted to be alive! Unlike them who were literally reborn as humans and raised, they didn't have to fight for food 😢and to survive . They just blindly follow pothimas ( elf leader) without knowing anything and act asif they are saving the world or something. Please no hate I just got too attached to this anime and wakaba 😢
Well you see us humans are very one dimensional we see what we want and judge based off that to the others she is a monster while to herself she saw what she did as a way to survive, when humans enter a state of danger or pushed into something out of our control we lose are minds and only think about ourselves. Maybe even a line like “you all where born to lives of safety and comfort. You had families and friends to protect and raise you. I was born in a cave. My siblings ate each other to see who was stronger and my mother was either trying to kill me or control me. You where given full course meals for nothing. My first meal was the butcher body of my own kind and all the poison it carried. My early meals where toxic and deadly and rarely gained without injury. You where trained by a mentor and your safety was assured. My mentors where death and suffering, if they found me lacking they would cut me down. Rarely did a fight go by that I was not dancing with death. You who lived in comfort and safety dare to judge me for what I did to live!? You do not know a fraction of what suffering is like! But then again that hasn’t changed from before our first deaths. The only difference know is you can’t hide from suffering and death.” I kind of went hard here but I like to think this is said after someone probably pisses her off
This is probably the best Kumoko reaction I've seen, really liked all the dialogue and I think you nailed the personalities. I don't really remember the novel but I most of the videos I've seen have Sophia quite friendly with Shiraori (sometimes borderline worship), don't really remember how that happened, maybe it's after the timeline you took them from?
The heros party doesn't get much character development even in the light Novel so good enough for sure and I think you got the other 3s personalities mostly right the 1 problem is shiraori would never actually be able to defend herself shes such a shut in/shy person
meh i disagree, shira definitely held her ground. she was never shy at all, though she was tongue-tied and came off that way, she'd always been bold. later in the series, shira is able to talk smoothly (book 15) without any issues thanks to her memories as D

Shiro disciplining Sophia in really humiliating ways. That's putting it mildly. Drunk Shiro moment. She basically abused Sophia which may or may not have been the cause to Sophia's sadistic masochism.

Also I'm really glad that someone didn't make Sophia obsessive over Shiro, since she's not(kinda), I mean she is, but it's complicated and most reaction videos kinda just erased her character into “Shiro lover #1”
