    On3’s Pete Nakos joins Andy to discuss some very interesting information that came out of the On3 Elite Series last week. Players anonymously answered a survey about NIL and how it is affecting their recruitment, and the results were surprising.
    Plus, Florida is the latest state to allow NIL for high-schoolers. Two players who attended the Elite Series, receiver Jamie Ffrench and DB Vernell Brown III, have already struck deals with American Eagle.
    We move from Nakosifications to Fong Bombs as On3’s Steve Wiltfong joins to break down a news-heavy week for the recruiting class of 2025. QB Keelon Russell (Duncanville, Texas) flipped his commitment from SMU to Alabama on Tuesday. Who might be the next to flip? Also, which schools gained ground with top recruits during the first big official visit weekend of the cycle?

    Andy I’ve done some reflecting since your Brian Kelley NIL recruiting take. I need to tell you I’m sorry for being extremely rude and ignorant in that specific videos comments. I had a fanatic episode. No I still don’t agree with your pov. Take care and Geaux tigers.

    Do we really think the SEC won't add teams and renegotiate their deal long before 2034?

      Conference expansion was already addressed in the current TV ageeement. You can't just break it at-will. If they didn't add an escalator clause like the B1G or look-in clause then it's set in stone.

      @jclevengerjr Před měsícem

      @heartbreak25 I can't imagine the SEC not having an expansion clause given what is going on. Either to 9 game conference schedule or more teams or both.

      @@jclevengerjr Well if an escalator or look-in exists then it hasn't been reported publicly. Keep in mind the B1G has earned more money than the SEC for years for a reason.
      The only thing known about the SEC is that they may have a pro rata agreement that any new team will be paid an equal share. That won't increase the value of the deal, just make sure the slices don't get smaller. The B1G doesn't have this clause so each new team that doesn't trigger the escalator are negotiated individually. That's why Oregon and Washington only receive 50% payouts with a travel bonus this term.
      It's said the SEC wants ESPN to pay them more money if they go to 9 conference games, but that's about it. But contractually, they're locked into the deal they signed through 2034 and there won't be any radical changes.

      @heartbreak25 not sure anyone really knows publicly what's in the contract. The Big 10 hasn't made more money for years. That happened with the latest deal after this recent expansion. The big 10 also made it for a shorter time frame, which was smart. Not sure why the sec agrees to such a long term in tbis landscape. Anything longer than 5 years lmao anything other than real estate is too long. I guess we'll see what happens.

      @@jclevengerjr The B1G has made more money for at least 10 years when the B1G Network fully launched. New numbers have not been announced with the new TV deals yet. But last year alone, the B1G paid out $60.5 million per school while the SEC paid out $51.3 million. In 2022, B1G paid out $58.8M and the SEC paid out $49.9M.
      People fixate on college football without realizing how much college basketball generates revenue through March Madness. The B1G is after the ACC is most basketball revenue the last 10 years. SEC probably signed a longer deal because they're scared about cord cutting of ESPN and the SEC Network isn't as strong as the Big Ten Network. Big Ten doesn't have that problem with three network partners.
      Current trends based on existing teams says it's likely the SEC will start earning more than the B1G by 2028 if the B1G. But if the B1G gets FSU, ND, and Clemson/Miami then that won't happen. At that point the B1G will start charging national advertising rates for all programs since it'd be the only conference with a major brand in all four corners near the largest media markets.

    I think you need to look at how much top end talent leaves Missouri. Sure a couple of the top guys have stayed but over 90% of the top 30 are still leaving. Midzou will always be Midzou
